Love this pub. Grab a drink or a rest before you head up the 199 steps. U der new management and they seem lovely and friendly.

How rude is the landlady,girl behind bar never stopped and the way the landlady speaks to customers is appalling never return to pub again

Clean and tidy rooms. Friendly and pleasant hosts. Lovely food, nicely cooked English breakfast & had a top notch Beef Madras in the evening. Excellent service and reasonably priced. Ideally located for the both the Yorkshire coast & North Yorkshire moors. During our stay we visited Robin Hoods Bay, Whitby & Roseberry Topping.... read full comment
