“Our favourite stay across the UK. Beautiful rooms, retaining the original 1600s features, but with glorious beds and showers. We ate at the restaurant last night, and it was one of the best meals I have ever had (and I’m 51!) - the lamb was out of this world.Rooms: Gorgeous- really comfortable, but retaining all their period featuresNearby activities: Close to everything Whitby has to offer.Walkability: Easy to get to everything. Parking is difficult - but we ended up parking at the long stay which is about a 10 minute walkFood & drinks: Stunning”

“Lovely, comfortable hotel. Rooms were good, bathroom was all very new. restaurant and bar was lovely and very chilled. breakfast was lovely and afternoon cream tea was worth the pennies. staff were exceptional treating us to feeling very special. The concierge treatment we received was amazing. The spa was lovely although I would have preferred if there hadn't had been children in the pool area as it could get noisy with the jumping in the water.”

“Typical wetherspoons pub but with one of the best views anywhere in England. Perfectly placed for a quick pint and a burger. Menu is the same as every other wetherspoons, but you get that view. Sit upstairs and admire the whitby harbour and old town in all its glory.”
