“What a cracking country store, had a cheeky weekend at Whitby, but knew I needed quail feed, so googled and this store came up.Dog, cat, wild bird, game bird, horse, goat, goose and duck feeds, I'm sure I've missed some out too!All the kit you need to look after your animals too.Plenty of horse tack and human tack too!Had to leave before I needed to remortgage the house!Good prices, lovely staff too.Thumbs up!”

“Spantons in Whitby is an absolute fantastic boutique where you can purchase beautiful gifts for your loved ones and friends and treat yourself to something special to wear. I was welcomed by the owner Karen who gave me some great advice on what to wear and purchase, she is super friendly and very knowledgeable. Not at all pushy and left me to browse on my own until I needed her. I would most definitely say that if you are in Whitby call in and have a look, it is well worth it!”

“Very fruitful! This is a big shop overlooking the harbour and 2 minutes walk from the railway and bus stations. If you have patience and time to browse there are hidden treasures just waiting to be discovered. From household items, small furniture, vintage clothing, designer to High Street, good condition donated goods go out on the rails every day so the earlier you get there the better. If you like putting together clothes for your own unique look then this is Whitby's gem of charity shops. And they have a great book section too, and music - CD's, audio books, vinyl - you can take a seat and get lost in a book (or two) - all sorted into genre and author. There's definitely a book for everyone here. There's two changing rooms and volunteers are helpful and friendly and I'm guessing some of like vintage style too! There's a sandwich shop next door so when you finish shopping you can pick up a delicious lunch and coffee and eat it sitting on one of the harbour benches - check out that stunning view of the Abbey across the river. What more could a charity shop offer!”
