Just had a fabulous dinner at the Royal Oak , great service, lovely dinner Ox cheek, and good beer, would recommend and if ever back in Ripon will go again .?

We visited the Royal Oak for a couple of drinks. Unfortunately once we’d ordered the drinks there was no seating available in the front bar area. We stayed on Friday, every aspect was great! Friendly staff , spotless room with very comfortable bed ,delicious well presented breakfast and good location. Couldn’t fault the pub with its friendly atmosphere. Will definitely return.
A traditional pub with great ales, great food and great service. Restaurant and a bar area with a sun trap beer garden too.
Bar area is dog friendly, so you can bring your pooch along for a drink!
