Fantastic place for young and old to spend a few hours looking at the amazing gardens or walking through the woodland. Also a lovely cafe for refreshments too.

A pleasant day out, staff very friendly and helpful especially the lady in the payment booth. Gardens even at this time of the year are calm relaxing and peaceful with a good variety of plants. The Walled Garden is a stunningly beautiful contemporary garden, quite unlike any other! Designed by the renowned Dutch plantsman, Piet Oudolf, and featuring modern, perennial meadow planting alongside more traditional areas, the garden is open to the public from Easter to October every year.
