Apparently nobody who works in the Halifax is qualified to open a current account for my 14 yr old daughter. I was told to do it online so I must be more qualified than them. Unfortunately the online application service is having technical issues so can?t even do it online. Utter garbage. No wonder this country?s a mess.

Expect everyone to do everything online. Branches have ridiculous opening times for working people. If you need to speak to someone expect to wait over 30 minutes on the phone.Really low interest on savings too

Absolutely hopeless. At beginning of lockdown in March gave us telephone number where we would get help via direct line. Tried numerous times but it has never once been answered!

As is shown by the other Halifax icon in Google Earth it is East of here on the other side of the Town Hall. The building where this icon is is now Ryman's Stationers.
