“My mother and I had a delightful stay. Very friendly hosts, the bedroom was beautiful, comfortable, spotlessly clean and with every convenience. Delicious vegetarian breakfast, we would highly recommend this B&B to anyone looking for a comfortable night in Great Ayton and the surrounding area.”

“Retirement party. Very nice. The room was so well done out. The buffet was fantastic. Hot and cold to choose from. Wow very impressed I actually asked who made it. Was so fresh. They had done buffet. I'm so pleased with this room although I have been to many a do in here. They have made it look very much more updated. Well done. Staff were so helpful and served with a smile. Best night I've had in ages. You do have steps to go up to this room at the back of pub from the spacious car park. It is a long narrow room opening out into an L shape. Where there is a small dance floor. Very good atmosphere.. About 80 to 120 people.. I think.. Get your party booked. Its lovely.”

“Lovely staff and premium room. Location excellent. However there were a issues with the bathroom. We are in our late 80s and not feel we need a disabled room yet. Just a few simple handholds are all that are needed. Shower has none apart for the pipe. Toilet had none to pull me up on. The towel rail an toilet roll holder were flimsey.”

“Hotel great, enjoyed staying there. On the same car park, there's an aldi supermarket if you've either forgotten anything that you require to make your trip perfect or simply require some extra bits for your trip. Also as a kwikfit if you need to replace anything on your car whilst your there. Also close by is a shopping centre called hill st if you seek abit of retail therapy.”
