By far the very best Sunday lunch in the area. Great choice and exceptional standard of food, service and setting. A must try you will not regret it.

We had past the Queen's Head, numerous times on our holiday, thinking it was closed, well do not be fooled. We finally visited on our last night and by get out of the car and going in, we found out it was amazing and open, as it has been all the time. Family run village pub dating back to the 1700’s, The Queen’s Head has recently been refurbished to create a welcoming friendly atmosphere. With home cooked delicious food and a well stocked bar with local beers, larger and cider.
Our 80 seat restaurant boasts stunning views of lower Wensleydale, with a 300 year old olive tree as its centrepiece. We have a private dining room for meetings, buffets and events. To the rear our terrace and grass area has more seating to enjoy the views of the valley.
