“Stayed here for 2 nights. Booked as a very last minute break. Booked directly with the hotel, was advised there was not the same room for the 2 nights, but they would move our bags etc for the second night stay, which was fine. The second nights room was a lower grade so was cheaper however, they had a last minute cancellation so we got an upgrade to a better room at no extra cost and the room (number 18) was absolutely lovely. The whole place was clean and tidy and every single member of staff we encountered was absolutely lovely, friendly and clearly happy in their jobs. The food and service were amazing for a small hotel and we had the pleasure of having a lovely conversation with Christine one of the Managers. All in all, a prefect short break! One small suggestion, please have the second car charger fixed please, we couldn’t charge on the second night as someone was using the only one that worked, and………ask the staff not to park in the charging bays! Thank you”

“Visited for Sunday Roast. Unfortunately was near end of service and chicken and beef had sold out, however everyone enjoyed the pork. Generous portions and nice traditional pub atmosphere. Only slight negative is food was over salty.”
