“Lovely place to stay, the staff were polite, helpful and friendly, the room was clean and tidy and the bed was big enough and comfortable enough for a good night's sleep. Not too far from the center of the town.”

“We had a lovely lunch here on Monday. They are dog friendly which is a big advantage! There’s plenty of seating with space in between tables, so our dog was away from the dog on the next table. We both ordered quiche with different toppings and came quite quickly! They came with chips, coleslaw and salad and were delicious! The staff were friendly and welcoming!!Food & drinks: Good selection of hot/cold lunches!”

“Love to see smaller plate options on the menu. The pea risotto and octopus salad tasted very nice. We also ordered fish and chips. Service was polite and quick. The atmosphere was pleasant.”

“Our recent two-night stay at Rudding Park was once again exceptional. From the warm welcome to the flawless service throughout, the team made us feel truly special—every staff member we encountered was kind, professional, and genuinely cared. Dining at Horto and Clocktower was a highlight, with beautifully prepared meals and thoughtful touches like complimentary prosecco and a card in our room. We were also delighted to be upgraded to a stunning Follifoot room—spacious, elegant, and immaculately maintained. The rooftop spa offered the perfect place to unwind, and even when we had to adjust our treatment times, the staff went above and beyond to accommodate us. Rudding Park is more than just a hotel—it’s a sanctuary that continues to exceed our expectations in every way. We can’t wait to return. Thank you to the entire team for another truly memorable stay.”

“Hotel was amazing have video to show friends and family. Staff were fantastic so nice and friendly as we were five sister's it must have been a new thing for them. Management went out of their way to accommodate us it was brilliant. The only thing to improve is room 10 could do with light above mirror and more choices at breakfast ie cereal, toast jam's.Walkability: You can walk into Harrogate 20/25 minutes. Buses going to the town never turn up but great coming back”

“Fantastic place local to town centre. Staff nice & rooms etc nice. Weather was hot at the weekend so the rooms were unbearable tbh! No air con etc… the only poor part of the stay was the evening food. Ugh it’s not very good. At least they have a bar open! Enjoyed everything about it except the terrible (evening) food.”

“This could have been 5 stars....Food is really great but simple options like new potatoes with fish no available.Orders not delivered on time. So mains came but sides forgotten. Follow up drinks orders forgotten. Spent £200 for 5 adults plus 3 small ones. Mandatory service not appreciated.. I always tip even if not totally happy (just vary the amount), but if it's going on the bill then put it in the prices. Don't you pay your staff? Great place and location spoiled by small niggles... need to up your game.Nearby activities: There is a great fun park nearby. Kids loved it. STOCKELD PARK.Food & drinks: As above food great, few niggles on options and service.”

“Really good, there a steep hill to reception, perhaps just a wake up call i need to get fit. It can be noisy as there a witherspoon at the back. Rooms clean and today, and decent 4g connection on ee. Paid for parking but very limited. Tbf, if you can park just next to it, do it and just walk as its very central.”

“Chloe went above and beyond on our check in...she actually remembered us from 2 years previously, when I arrived with my daughter, who has an ileostomy and everything went wrong from the journey to the hotel and arriving at the hotel... Very discreetly managed us an early check in..she will never know how much this helped us..enjoy our weekend which wasn't looking good at the time...this lady needs a medal xx”

“Stunning pub, great location just at the bottom of the town and highstreet. 10min walk to Betty's and major shops. Rooms are beautiful, spacious and cosy. Breakfast buffet was good, however, they finish a little early at 9.30.
Service was OK, bit slow for that it wasn't busy, but they do offer self check-in desks.
Good car park right at the back.
Would recommend!

Walkability: 10 min from Betty's”
