“One fateful lunchtime, I pondered to myself: Oh I am so hungry where shall I go for lunch?? Oh God!! The Co-operative!! Which is only a mere 0.7 miles from my school! This divine little establishment is not only roller-skate friendly, but also hosts a fine range of Cadbury chocolate bars. As chocolate is one of the many loves of my life, you can picture the splendorous look on my face when I discover the 2 for a pound deal!!! Ohh me oh my!!!!!!!! I almost soiled myself!! I will forever be grateful to this store for allowing me to feast on the highest quality scran.”

“In a world where big chain stores dominate, Dacre Village Store is a refreshing change. It's more than just a place to shop; it's the heart of our community. I am grateful to have such a wonderful local shop, and I highly recommend Dacre Village Store to everyone in the area and beyond.”

“I was staying in a local air bnb and I went for a run, unfortunately I fell over and grazed my hands an knee I popped into summerbridge stores and bought some plasters, the two ladies in the shop were so helpful and got out their own first aid kit and gave me some antiseptic wipes which were much needed. Thanks again”

“Good little local shop. Packs a good selection in for the square footage. My only complaint is that they have very little to offer vegetarians in terms of ready meals etc.”

“If you want to meet the Friendliest Post Office in Britain look no further than Crab Lane Post Office they can be rushed off their feed one person serving multiple people and not once are they ever unhappy, rude or anything negative for that matter if there was an Award that went out for Post Offices they should receive it. They have every soft drink under the sun and guess what their fridges work perfectly chilled, amazing selection of chocolate and sweets to tempt anyone's tastes. If you are local and usually use Dover town centre you must take a deviation to Crab Lane and just see real old fashioned true perfect customer service that you just don't get any more. Crab Lane Post Office we thank you.”

“Conveniently situated next to Pannal railway station. Fairly standard medium sized convenience store/mini market. Popped in on the off chance there'd be a coffee machine as we had a half hour wait for our train and there was a Costa Coffee machine along with a good selection of Danish Pastries. Served immediately by a cheerful chap. ”

“Convenient location just off main road into Harrogate from Ripon/Ripley/Skipton, inside petrol station. Has similar range to a local Co-op, plus petrol station items. Handy for picking up items on Sunday/Bank Holidays when 'normal' shops are shut.”

“mixed opinions. staff are great and clean store. but fruit and flowers are often not in great condition and variety of products isn’t great. but to say it’s 30 seconds round the corner can’t complain too much!”

“This is a small, very useful shop in a key residential area. The staff are friendly and helpful. It is the only place in Harrogate where you can obtain an International Driver's Permit.”

“It's much improved. A few years ago this was a dire shopping experience but they've recently done it out with a total refit inside. It's now modern and the produce is good, esp fresh produce.I'd say forget old memories and try it out.”

“Always the best to pop in to do some shopping, making sure I've got a storecard as the discounts I regard are a great way of saving. For many that should be a craving before we continue to be waving good bye to the guy that did try. I was a bard but life became too hard. See a shard of truth then you will find as much proof as you need if you follow to see MGBM Artworks took the lead.”

“Always had efficient and friendly service here. Used to call regularly at night and have a chat with Pat, who I was very sorry to hear sadly passed away recently. You need more staff like her, she was a credit to the company.”

“Today at roughly 17:00 me and my partner were shopping here. Unfortunately I couldn’t get the persons name but I was told he was a temporary cleaner. This gentleman took the time out of his day to go the extra mile. He saw that we were struggling to decide on something so he asked if he could help and made an excellent suggestion. He was kind, friendly, approachable and well presented. The only reason this isn’t a 5 star review is I asked 3 separate staff for his name and none of them knew or found out for me. I thought it a shame they didn’t know his name but he definitely deserves credit. Thank you sir for a brilliant experience.”

“I’m surprised at some of the negative reviews. I’ve lived locally and shopped at One Stop regularly for over 20 years and have always found the staff friendly and helpful. Love having such a convenient and close corner shop!”

“I recently visited this Morrison’s store and was really impressed with how spacious and well laid out it is. One of the things that stood out most was how easy it was to get around with a pram the aisles are wide, clear, and thoughtfully arranged, making the whole shopping trip much less stressful when you have children with you.

There’s plenty of room to move without feeling cramped, which is a real bonus compared to some supermarkets where navigating with a buggy can feel like an obstacle course. The store itself is clean, well-stocked, and easy to navigate, with everything laid out logically. The Store Manager and staff were also friendly and helpful, which made the experience even better.

Overall, this Morrison’s is a great option for families, especially those shopping with babies or young children. It takes the hassle out of what can sometimes be a tricky task, and that alone makes it worth recommending.”

“Could this BE anymore of an amazing shop!? No I think not. The staff literally talk to you like friends, they genuinely ask 'how you doin'?!' And Oh. My. God. Such an amazing selection of fresh healthy produce too! We were on a break for the week when we first came here for essentials. I'll definitely come back on our next trip, the owners seemed like the kind of people who like to be there for you, so important especially in the current covid crisis.”
