“Currently as of review date this has the cheapest petrol for miles. Really large forecourt with a fair few pumps so you rarely have to wait. Also a big shop inside which is nice. Really good petrol station.”

“I use this place for the Amazon locker, which is at the back of the shop. Other than that, it has a big variety of items available, even frozen food. From the outside it seems smaller than it is.”

“Great little delivery service but wouldn't recommend buying the bananas!! last 2 times I've ordered them I've received bags of mush, you can feel how bad they are without opening them so gone straight in the bin. Thought the 1st lot were a one off but it's happened again. I will order again but no bananas ever!!”

“The staff here are very friendly and helpful, the shop is clean, and generally I enjoy shopping here because the isles are wide and uncluttered. It's big enough to stock lots of items, but small enough that you don't have to walk miles if you forget something.”

“Convenient to get to compared to larger stores but not as much variety. Please note that prices are inflated for same item in larger stores but I guess you are paying for the convenience factor. Limited parking on site but lots of street parking around. Early opening and late closing as well as Argos collection. No public toilets but does have a small fresh bakery. More than happy to visit.”

The owners have put everything into this project to make sure the Temple Newsam/Halton community doesn’t go without!”

“It's only fair to update Bargain Booze, given how often I visit this handy wee shop. The main premise of my being a fan is twofold -one, it's merely 7 minutes away from my house, and two, the lady who works here is awesome. They mightn't have an excellent range of goods-you can expect the basics of most things you might need - but you can always expect a friendly welcome. All the chaps that work here provide plenty of banter, and are always friendly and helpful! In terms of basics, come here for cheap booze deals on wine, beer, spirits, cigarettes, basic bathroom items, sweets, snacks, milk, bread, drinks, pet food, cards and more. Not the cheapest, but not as ridiculous as some places, and always there when you need. Open until 10pm most nights-a little later on a Saturday I do believe. I'm a happy customer.”

“I wanted to give a shout out to a Tesco Extra Seacroft employee, Sharon (not aware of her last name, apologies). She runs the children's crafts at the store. Whilst she is a store employee, she spends thousands of her own money on kids art and craft supplies to give children (many from disadvantaged backgrounds) the opportunity to create seasonal crafts. She does this all over Summer, Christmas, Halloween etc. She told me she spent £700 over Summer on supplies and spends over £4000 annually of her own money each year. She really cares about the kids and has regulars that love spending time with her that she has built relationships with. She is a true community hero. I hope Tesco rewards her, as they should - better yet perhaps Tesco could help fund it for the local community!”

“Well stocked city centre shop. Good selection of ready to eat, stock cupboard essentials, bit's and bobs. Good VFM & can use dividend card as well.Marked down as staff did nothing to get folk standing in entrance smoking to move away from entrance.C'mon Co-op & ur staff!”

“Very clean petrol station, bins provided for any rubbish you may have. Several pump stations for you to fill up at. There was additional parking for customers who just wanted to use the Kiosk . The kiosk was well stocked and maintained . The only problem was at the window the shelves were really tall. If you are short like me and forgot which number pump you are at, is a bit of a pain to walk back to the entrance to see. This station offers a lot more than just filling your tank.”

“Very convenient with long opening hours, nearby parking and a wide range of groceries and stuff. Look out for the clubcard deals to make that extra serving. You can do a self service at checkout or a staff member will be on hand to do the needful.”
