“Went into Hobbs today after having a horrible experience in another shop. Was greeted by friendly helpful staff. I tried on a hat couldn't decide the kind lady put it to one side. I went back and thanked them but I had got sorted. I will go back and purchase at some point. I would recommend this shop to everyone”

Was up in Yorkshire and managed a last minute appointment- did not expect to find THE dress today but the lovely support fabulous choices and comfy environment for my mum and sister to give their input and I was torn between 2 dresses at the end . “A really lovely shopping experience. Pleasant, friendly and very helpful staff, totally different from a lot of stores I’ve visited. We were welcomed into the store, told nicely to ask if help needed, and left to browse. The manager was excellent, the staff so well trained, just a pleasure from start to finish. “I want to call out specifically the service from Arran as it was one of the best customer experiences I have received. Super knowledgeable, friendly and keen to give advice. Arran resolved a problem I'd had purchasing a backpack from another store which turned out was too big and gave me advice on alternatives. I swapped it for another one and the backpack itself is really well designed and great quality for the price. I left the store very happy and confident for my trip. It was the kind of retail experience you just can't get online shopping and makes coming in-store absolutely worth it. Will definitely return to the Harrogate store for future needs.”

“A good little shop, the lady that runs the shop (though I haven’t seen her for a few weeks, hope she is okay!) is really helpful and seems to notice what I like/don’t like. There’s been a couple of occasions where she’s pulled stuff out to show me and I’ve really appreciated that, makes you feel noticed! The shops always laid out very well and is clean and tidy. The only minor thing I would say is the designer rail can sometimes be a little bit on the pricier end, but that doesn’t seem to uncommon nowadays.”

“Excellent service. They didn’t have the roof bars we’d ordered and wouldn’t have them in before we left for a holiday to France, so they provided an alternative set which we then swapped for the correct one on return.

“This is one of my favourite charity shops in the town. It's small but sweet, often with hidden gems in abundance. The selection of books on offer upstairs is brilliant, too. The staff are friendly and helpful, and prices are reasonable. Indeed- as is the case with all charity shops- it can be a bit hit-and-miss at times, but nevertheless this shop is worth a visit.”
