Arranged to meet friends in another little town in North Yorkshire - but table cancelled as couldn't cope with our party of four with the large party they had, tried two other pubs in the town, but nobody answered the phones - found this gem on the internet - telephoned and answered by a real life person and booked there...

A real gem of a place! Steve is a fantastic host who made us feel very welcome at The Greyhound. A great mix of a traditional pub but with modernly decorated and very comfortable bedrooms. The Greyhound Inn is a traditional country Inn with accommodation. The Inn offers a warm welcome and a comfortable relaxed atmosphere with good food and hand pulled beers which can be enjoyed in the courtyard and garden or in the bar around a seasonal log fire.
