“l could not have been more impressed with the staff and service. It is a totally different experience to the branch in white lion st. The white lion st branch is mayhem everything is rushed and when you arrive they tell you to wait in the waiting room, which l did on 2 visits and after waiting for 45mins l walked out. The St stephens branch is much smaller and when you walk in you are seen instantly with a very warm relaxed welcome. l sat down with a lovely young lady called Kate who could not have been more helpful. No pressure at all and certainly no sales push. l always find choosing a new pair of glasses very stressful, but this experience was zero stress and l could not have been more happy with the service. When l went to collect my glasses l was seen by a chap called Chris who equally was a really nice chap and really helpful, as was the last chap who gave me the glasses. The Hugo Boss glasses are amazing and for someone that is usually highly critical, in this case l have to say thank you to the staff and could not recommend the place more. l guarantee if you visit this store you will never go back to the white lion shop.”

“I was greeted on arrival and treated as a person signed in and taken upstairs for a health check. This was done with efficiently and care. Wait time approx. 2 minutes. No problem here. The eye tests were great we had fun talked a lot. I talk a lot. Again I was treated as a person. The optician was great she explained when I ask something. I could not ask for anything better. I hope i get her next time. Top marks to all the staff I interacted with. All wonderful people.”

“After having to switch branch due to moving house, I had 3 months of going back and fourth at a new opticians because of numerous mistakes and issues including constant debilitating headaches. I decided to return to this branch and it was the best decision - they are always so thorough with their examinations. I explained my concerns and have to give a special thank you to Emma the optometrist for advising me and being so understanding - the same to Richard the ops manager, he properly fitted all of my glasses and I walked away feeling relieved and headache free (fingers crossed). I was reassured that I could come back if the issue persists which put me at ease. The customer service was superb and I will not be changing branch again.”
