They made me feel comfortable and also explained the process very well, as well as checking in with me prior to the surgery to ensure everything was in order. I had my surgery at the Birmingham branch with surgeon Mr Mughal. He was top notch. He put me at ease and was very reassuring. He explained everything very clearly, as well as addressing any concerns I had. The surgery went very smoothly, with no complications. The results have been life changing. I now have better than 20/20 vision which is amazing. I wish I had done this sooner. I would highly recommend optical express to anyone who is considering having laser eye surgery.”

“We had previously been for an eye test at another optician in beaumont leys and were left confused and underwhelmed amd just feeling like we had listened to a sales pitch. We went in to look at some glasses style and spoke to byrony. We explained we were just looking and she went above and beyond. She helped us realise the previous eye test had missed a distance issue and we couldn't believe the difference when redoing the eye test. We eneded up buying with specsavers due to the no pressure, informative and helpfulness of the whole team. We would not hesitate to recommend.”

“I only found this little gem recently when I needed to have lens put into existing glasses. I usually go to a big chain but they prefer to sell you frames with lens. I thought I’d try this place as it’s so close to where I live.I should have made an appointment but went on the off chance and I was let in. The couple who run it are so friendly and very knowledgeable. They looked at my options and gave me a price for the new lens which beat the other place by a mile. I got the best quality lens for much less so I said to go ahead. They were sent off and came back earlier than expected so I was very chuffed. The glasses were fitted correctly to so they don’t slide down my nose any more. I was very impressed and will be using them in the future. Highly recommend.”
