Get our prescriptions from here on the monthly as a family. It's changed management over the last couple of months, and it's had a massive improvement. They seem very happy to help, and the line seams to go down quicker since it's been under new management.

I visited Saturday on behalf of my elderly mum, upon arriving my mum was already on the phone to a staff member called Melanie as she is being sent the wrong inhalers. In the pharmacy I heard how horribly she spoke to my mum about this. I asked a young girl at the desk to speak to someone about the issue and Melanie approached me and rudely said she was not discussing this with anyone else as she ?had enough of the conversation?. She said rudely my mum can only have what?s on her prescription, however Salbutamol inhalers ARE written on the prescription and my mum is not receiving these. She described the medication to me as being in a big long box, which is actually my mums nebulae medication and NOT the inhaler I was talking about. I explained the issue was not nebulaes for a machine, but the inhalers. I explained this again that it IS written on the prescription, it resulted in me losing my patience with Melanie and we had an argument. If she had bothered at looked at the prescription she would have seen I was correct and it does in fact say Salbutamol inhalers, not just Salbutamol nebulae. I said we will move pharmacies now due to this issue and the manner in which she spoke to me, to which the staff member screamed ?GOOD!? back at me. My mum can be a bit of a nuisance by calling up the pharmacy frequently but she is receiving palliative care and no one should be treated like this in a health setting. I will be making a formal complaint as this is extremely unprofessional and ignorant to not even attempt to be understanding or resolving of the issue by simply looking at the prescription instead of just assuming she must be correct.

I drove my mother to Boots in Dersingham to collect her prescription today (Friday) and it was closed. No mention on the website that they were closing today. Luckily, I could drive her back home again, but what about all the other elderly that have walked there to collect a much needed prescription? If you don?t have a pharmacist, at least man the place with someone who can serve and speak to people. I am disgusted

This used to be an excellent pharmacy. As with all Boots, staffing pressures - for months on end - have meant delays but during this I was supportive of the staff because it wasn't their doing. HOWEVER, I am currently on day 4 without my essential mental health medications. I arrived last week and quickly found I was 2 meds down. I explained how I had new meds and that I had personally posted the repeat prescription through their letterbox the previous week, when I arrived to find reduced operating hours. The young lady, whom I had not seen before was not listening to me and informed me that the meds hadn't been requested by the surgery. I explained I knew that wasn't the case because I had posted the repeat myself and my new meds were on my next managed prescription. Again she didn't listen and told me to contact the surgery. Of course I couldn't do this at that time, because the surgery was also closing for New Year. I found the young lady very unhelpful and she just wanted rid of the problem so just incorrectly diverted me to the surgery. Having an anxiety disorder, I quickly left because I didn't want to have a panic attack in front of a packed store and the people there had been queuing for in excess of 20 mins just like I did. Needless to say I will be switching pharmacies. I suggest Boots in general need to review their issues and that the pharmacy takes ownership of something that was clearly their mistake.

staff team could do with some training customers services, can be/come a crossed rude sometimes but store its self is a normal small village boots shop, selling most things you can buy from boots
