“I travel round the UK for work, spend many nights away in various hotels and so far Andover House is my favourite place to stay.The hotel is beautiful, 2 old grand town houses converted into one with high ceilings, ornate wood work and it's been decorated beautifully. The bar is really nice and the food is excellent, for the money it's considerably better than most restaurants, let alone hotels. Great portions, perfectly cooked and full of flavour. The short beef ribs were so good.The rooms are warm, clean, homely and welcoming, I struggle to sleep in some hotels but sleeping here felt like sleeping at home.If I'm ever in this area of the country again, even if it means a bit of a drive, I'll definitely be staying again.”

I’ve been here twice now and it just gets better every time! The charcoal grill flavour is incredible — you can really taste the difference. Portions are generous, everything fresh and cooked perfectly. Staff are super friendly and make you feel welcome. Easily the best place in Great Yarmouth for a proper grill — I’ll definitely be back again!”

“Had a great stay here. Room was extremely spacious, a little dated but well kept. Very comfy bed and pillows. Everyone was extremely friendly and made us feel very welcome. Location can't be beat, minutes from the beach, everything we wanted to see and do was within walking distance. Only disappointment was the breakfast, full English took ages to come out and was not very nice. Think the breakfast was a freebie though so didn't spoil our experience, just skipped it on the second day and opted for a fish and chips from a nearby vendor!”

“Excellent place to stay, we really enjoyed our stay, the staff were friendly and helpful, the room was clean and warm. Breakfast was perfect enough to take a through to dinner time. Lovely gardens opposite the hotel. Plenty of things to do and places to visit. We will be returning to this place again very soon, would definitely recommend.”
