“For quite a small store I never cease to be amazed by the range is stock this shop keeps. I may be showing my age but it reminds me of the old Woolworths store we used to have in the Market Place.”

“Well stocked village shop with limited parking in front..there is more parking at the rear but can be a bit tight. (Additional parking for shopping is kindly allowed by Kings Arms pub across the road.)Fresh produce, meat, poultry, frozen foods..the shop also houses the post office.”

“We were staying at a frequently visited local touring caravan park and always use this store, the staff are very helpful and polite. The store carries a varied and comprehensive range of fare so I see no reason to spend money on fuel to visit the nearest large supermarket for "cheaper" prices. I would recommend them to anyone either locals or tourists.”

“Prices still high on certain items particularly paper goods and cleaning liquids etc. Costs finally coming down as of September 2023 but cereals, frozen items and vegetables still high.”

“Good shop and products. Shop there once a week as it has great parking and all on one level. The place has several rules of conduct. It depends on the floor manager. She put the people on the floor.(some could do with some instructions on how to not cross contaminat). They should clean hands between customer. It a bit annoying and I do ask them to do so. The food is great and not over priced. The chicken is great if you by from other stores you will know how much water comes out. Not on these birds they tase great. Nearly forgotten how chicken was supposed to be. Big family boxes of southern fried chicken and it's as good as the KFCs. Lots cheeper and oven ready. Lots of oven ready meals are on offer and they taste great. Not like other supermarkets.Tell staff to try a bit harder and it would be a 10 / 10. Great food. Moderately priced.”

“Visited today to get some essentials for our trip and the shop is huge! They had a good sized car park as well. We found everything we needed and it was easy to get round with the trolley- not crammed together like some shops. Loads of staff around to help if needed and they all seemed really canny. Will visit again if we need too!”

“Always a warm welcome, the staff are very helpful and know where things are and don't just point you in the direction they will take you to it.Once at the checkouts, the staff are jovial and you can have a joke with them. All in all a pleasurable experience unlike some of the other supermarkets that treat you like second class people making you scan your own shopping.”

“Fine, small Tesco. Much better fresh produce here than at Lidl. Go to Gapton Tesco if you want a bigger range of products. This Tesco needs scan as you shop! Though they do often have a lot of people on the checkouts, so checking out is quite speedy and they are friendly. They just expanded the store slightly which is nice. The car park is pretty good too, no complaints there.”

“Large Tesco store around Great Yarmouth and Lowestoft area set over 2 levels. Upper one is clothing and Cafe. Helpful staff and lots of parking with Tesco gas station on site.”

“I visited the SPAR on Monday, I regularly use it. The staff are always very chatty and friendly, it is a good little village shop. However...those poor girls were frozen on Monday, something to do with the weather I am sure, but it would be nice to see them smiling as usual because they were warm. Perhaps a couple of heaters for them??”

“I've been popping into this shop for a while now, the place looks clean and tidy, the aisles are quite roomy compared to some supermarkets I've been too.The Store is signed well and items are easy to find, there seems to be plenty of staff on the shop floor in case you need help.I went to the cafe during my last trip and ordered Pizza, the slices were huge, I had basically a half of pizza and only cost me the price of two slices, good value for money, the staff interaction was excellent.”
