“First time in the Wallasey store ? of one of my favourite shop's Home Bargains. And it must be a favourite shop of the people who live round here as it was really busy ??...Just like how I remember the old Prenton store to have always been. This is a much larger store than the old Prenton Home Bargains was with more products and lines & a full chilled food section.I'll definitely come again but maybe @ a different time of day - this latest visit being @ teatime & like I've said the store was totally chocka.. ”

“Sometimes have all you need, sometimes not!, the staff are very nice and helpful, it is always fairly well stocked but can be missing what I went in there for. I think it is important to take a list with you to make sure you remember what you went in for as it is quite the distraction with all the stuff that they sell.”

“So impressed by the prices here, I usually use farmfoods as they have good deals but I was really impressed by heron as quite a few of their prices beat everywhere else”

“I've always liked shopping here as prices are great, always good deals on and plenty of choice. Recently I had an emergency for puppy pads new years eve. Everywhere was sold out, they were my last hope but had none on the shelves either. I mentioned it at the till as I paid and the lovely man on the till asked a colleague who said he did have some in the back. Sure enough he came back a few short minutes later with a huge packet of puppy pads. Life saver and definitely going the extra mile for the customer. Fabulous.”

“In the centre of Liscard, Iceland stands: easy to get to, easily accessible for prams or wheelchairs. There's a great variety of food at reasonable prices, catering for vegetarian, vegan, and meat eaters. The service is fast, the staff are helpful and friendly - and delivery is free if you've done a full shopload. If you're a pensioner ask about the food reductions on a Tuesday as Iceland have led the charge in offering help during these difficult times. It is a supermarket that deserves to be shopped in as they have demonstrated they are a place that cares - from the CEO, to the workers in the shop isles.”

“Got to have your card as there is no shop or person to speak with. It charges £1 to your card and allows up to £99 fill. The money generally comes out a day or two later. Quite often there are queues but they don't last long.”

“Went into the store this morning to buy 2 x 24 cans of cola drink. I asked a shop assistant if he could take it out to my car for me he took them to the checkout and then to my car. When he saw my mum sitting in the car waiting for me he was so chatty and polite to her. She thought he was an old friend. ..”

“'Tesco Express' is a good place to shop if you're in a rush and don't have the time to wander around confusing large supermarkets. It has a wide range of products, clearly marked and easy to find. The staff are helpful, despite that they are busy and kept on their toes, as working employees.Even though designed to be a smaller area it still manages to have a wide range of supplies - be it fresh fruit and veg, all varieties of bread and oat, almond or hazelnut milk.I sometimes feel overwhelmed when shopping in the 'mega' markets that have become popular, so, Tesco Express is an excellent alternative if you also feel anxious in a large store. The staff are always welcoming and helpful, too. Which is handy, if, like myself, you are also a bit confused by automated shopping. Here, you can do that if you wish, or you can simply wait to be served - the way it used to be done!”

“It's good for daily essentials quite expensive though compared to the large stores because it's a Tesco express it charges more. But they do have clubcard points which can reduce prices.”

“Popped in yesterday for some shopping. Couldn't find our regular wine, so asked the guy replenishing the shelves. He was so helpful and offered to checked in the back. He came back and apologised as he couldn't find any. We were paying at the till when he came across to us. He'd found our wine, and then went to the trouble to track us down. His name was Mike. He was incredibly helpful and his customer service was above and beyond our expectations.Asda, he is an absolute credit to you...Well done Asda and Well done Mike... Thankyou!”

“Popped in as part of our journey to Eureka Science & Discovery Centre. Not the cheapest supermarket but served a purpose for a couple of items required. Good parking facilities although it was busy on a Sunday when we visited.”
