“We were in the Lidl, Portimão, Portugal a month ago. The bakery was outstanding for choice. Much better than any Lidl I've seen in the Wirral. It also had a very varied selection of frozen fish, including crab, langoustines, clams, prawns etc. The cold meat section excelled by comparison to the Leasow Lidl. We do like Lidl, but could be more like the one in Portimão. That's definitely a 5*****”

“Great range, good prices, decent quality.

The new refrigerated whole foods are fantastic, especially the pack of raw chicken breasts X2 (400g) for £2 odd, the lean beef mince and diced steak are decent too. Better than Asda/ Lidl and better value.”

“Very good clean and most items were stocked. Unfortunately, whether demand or delivery issues some of the items (vegan) were not available. Staff very polite and helpful. Would certainly recommend.”

“I only gave a 4 star,its a brill shop but since they stopped opening at eight and changed to 9 oclock its so much harder for working people as i used to do my shopping before work and pensioners like to get out early to avoid the really busy times,worth a rethink.”

“Went into the store this morning to buy 2 x 24 cans of cola drink. I asked a shop assistant if he could take it out to my car for me he took them to the checkout and then to my car. When he saw my mum sitting in the car waiting for me he was so chatty and polite to her. She thought he was an old friend. ..”

“Useful little store that carries loads of useful groceries that one tends to run out of at the most inconvenient times, which is where this store comes into it's own. There is also the convenience of the opening times from very early in the morning until at least ten pm in the evening.”

“Shop underwent renovations and is now pleasant to walk in. Staff are helpful and knowledgable in many different areas with the boss being able to sort out any issues at any times. Overall top tier shop”

“It's good for daily essentials quite expensive though compared to the large stores because it's a Tesco express it charges more. But they do have clubcard points which can reduce prices.”

“It's not cheap, they usually only have one till operating forcing you to use the self check out unless you like to spend a long time waiting in a queue. Overall though they have a fine selection of items, the staff are nice and friendly and with the loyalty card called the MORE card you can grab a few bargains. I wish they would sort out their coffee shop and have a set opening time, it seems to open at random times between 9.30 and 10.30 but there is a Costa and Starbucks a minute or so away.”

“I went into the Asda pharmacy on a Sunday just before they were closing, I went as I had not been feeling well and was also struggling to sleep so I bought a few medications hoping they would help me, then the pharmacist noticed me & asked if I was ok as I was drenched in sweat, twitch, extremely pale, badly nauseous & other things so he asked do I take regular meds & I told him I take “200mg of Sertraline” daily and have done for 4 years now but I forgot to pick up my script on Friday, so I’d had none Thur,Fri,sat & up until then Sunday, he then told me I was in full on “WITHDRAWAL” from the Sertraline which I didn’t even know was a thing, he was incredibly kind & understanding & immediately took my details and give me an emergency supply there and then, this was 30 mins before it closed on a Sunday, it was BUSY, he could have said nothing and carried on doing the million and 1 things he was likely doing, but he showed genuine concern & absolutely no judgement, his only concern was getting me my medication now so I did not get sicker. After around 15 mins I left with what I’d bought and my medication to take, and I felt so so much better a few hours after taking it, I honestly dread to think what I’d have been like come Monday, I did not get his name, but he was super observant, really kind, non Judgemental, he showed he cared that I got this medication & completely understood my symptoms, I just have never encountered a pharmacist like this before & im EXTREMELY grateful he was working Sunday & I will use that as my pharmacy from now on, there needs to be more pharmacists like him.”
