“Always shop here has everything I need. Just discussing the store in Birkenhead closing. There very few shop down there now another one gone. It leaves Asda what do the people do like me that don't drive.”

“Newly refurbished and looks amazing. Lots of fridges now. Classy displays of fresh produce and the aisles are quite wide too. Liquor and booze now on the back wall, moved away from the check outs where it used to be. Lighting is slightly dimmer but not dark . Was quite impressed really. They have installed customer self checkouts but still have manned checkouts if you prefer that . 5 stars from me. Visited around 5pm and it was not too busy. Hope this helps you all. Oh .. the carpark has been re-laid with fresh markings too.”

“The staff here are brilliant. Very bubbly and chatty always om hand waiting to help! Top notch staff.
I went for the cans. 3 crates of 24 cans for £38. I think that very very unbeatable value for money. And they have all kinds. Fanta, Dr pepper, Pepsi and all it's varieties, Barr pop and it's varieties. The Coca cola is a bit dearer that is 3 crated for £50. Which is still cheaper than anywhere else. Works out about 69p a can.
Get down there for some bargains!!!”

“Not a bad little Sainsbury's. It's useful if visiting the area for supplies and toilet facilities. There is a Specsavers in-store too which is handy for the locals.”
“Nice shop and location for sure with plenty of car park spaces. The only thing I don't like about Iceland is that they close early as compared to their peers... They could at least open until 8 pm every day from Monday to Saturday, if not 10 pm like ALDI or LIDL.”

“I have to give a big shout to ythe young man who in my exp was such a helpful, caring young man with outstanding customer services, which in rhisnday and age is very rare. he spoke to 3 customers in front of me and obviously he had taken time to get to nonyour customers. he greates them by name and asked them questions about thier personal lives and referred to certain things about thier families. I was just purchasing a sympathy card and when he served me he said quietly" I'm so sorry for your loss". I was very touched and felt I needed to thank him and congratulate him on his EXCELLENT customer service. I didn't see his name but im sure you nonwho he is. Well done young man”

“Can you please sort the steaks out, I use the self-service machine's, and most times I go through security and the alarm goes off, one time I ignored it and got chased out the shop, can't blame the security man he was doing his job, but it's embarrassing when you have all the other customers looking at you when the security man is checking your shopping”

“Great choice of items to buy. Would be 5 stars, but sometimes it can take a long time to get through the cash desks as they only ever have the minimum amount open.There are now limits of 12 per person on most of the items in store. The self service checkouts do help to speed things up, but because of these limits, still can't go to 5 stars...Just to update....the limit of 12 per person has been lifted.”
