“This is situated towards the top of westfield street. I go in now and again for a browse because they have some quality stuff. There are the usual charity shop items such as second hand clothes and shoes but what really interests me is that they always have a few interesting books and rare cds in the shop. I like to sift through these kinds of things to find a bargain. Surprisingly, maybe for a charity shop but this place also has a changing room. So, if you do decide to get some clothes, you can try them on first with privacy. The shop is quite long but narrow so the shelves are quite close together, making the place feel a bit like a jumble sale at times. The staff are pleasant and always helpful if you need assistance, for example, bagging your goods or even directing to to another shop if they know they have something you are after.”

“One of quite a few charity shops dotted around the town, this is one of the bigger charity shops. They usually have furniture in the window and inside you can find table and chairs, second hand clothes, books, shoes and other odd items such as ornaments. I recently bought a set of scales from this place for £3 They are still working well and are probably the best scales I have had. The staff consist mainly of elderly woman and they are very nice, pleasant and friendly. I believe they are volunteers so their work is extra special.”

“Called in today thinking they were open until 3.30 as it said on the website. Unfortunately due to a shortage of volunteers they are only able to take donations in the morning. But as we only had a few bits they very kindly took them off us. Yes they are limited in what they take as they know what people want but they were really helpful. I would have offered to volunteer if I wasnt already volunteering elsewhere. If youve a few hours to spare get in touch I'm sure they would welcome you”
