“My favorite charity shop out of Barnardos, Oxfam and the British heart foundation! It's affordable and not as expensive as Oxfam but not as boring as Barnardos! I can always find some cool trinkets in there haha. Definitely recommend it if you're looking for a nice charity shop to spend time in.”

“Friendly staff. The shop often has 50% off clothes sales, however the stock isn’t very interesting most of the time. Maybe they need more donations which I’m happy to give in the future. Also, recently there’s less of bric a brac which I really like and I’m sure that’d would help the sales.”
“We heard about this animal charity shop in Formby from a friend while visiting Liverpool and made sure we checked it out as it supports a very worthwhile cause.We were received with a warm and friendly welcome, and spent nearly an hour browsing. We were not pressurised in any way to buy and sifted through the many bargains and hidden gems. Needless to say, we didn't leave the shop empty-handed and our visit was well worth it. Our dogs enjoyed the treats and attention too.If you're in Formby, drop in, buy a bargain, and support animals in need. You'll be glad you did.”

“You can almost always find something good at cheap prices plus there’s a £1 rack. However, the staff could be more polite and the shop is sometimes closed without any explanation.”

“We have just had our shed broken intoAll our Christmas tree decorations and presents have been stolen .We phoned Barnardo's to ask if they had any Christmas trees and explained what had happened and the kind hearted lady's paid for a new tree and lots of Christmas decorations .they are angels and saved us from the Grinch who tried to ruin our Christmas.. “Been to hunts cross Bernardo’s quite a few times and I’ve always found staff to be lovely and welcoming. I went in this week and found some great items and found the floor and stock to be tidy and well displayed, as usual. Lovely shop with great goodies, the lovely manager even found me a coat and I’m made up with it.”
