Awful, always turning up extremely late. Each time I phone I?m given conflicting information. Can?t get a straight answer, I must have telephoned 20 times, emailed the quality manager several times and we have the same on going issues with carers turning up extremely late. Asked to see my mums care plan and boom they said they think it would be better if mum had a different care company! They tell lie after lie, phoned my brother and said they?d try to phone me but no answer from me! Funny as not got one missed call from them. Shame as girls who visit mum are lovely but I?m just told lie after lie!

Disappointed with their care for my Mum who has Alzheimer's. There's no consistency with staff, some of them are so incompetent it's unbelievable, why they are actually in care- work is a mystery, other than it's a job for now until something better comes along.I was hoping that it was just teething problems but no it's ongoing issues I have witnessed through CCTV footage. They need to employ decent caring staff with common sense,empathy and are aware of people's dignity and respect. I have complained to them several times to no avail, so I had no choice but to report them to Social Service's.We definitely need to change Provider's for my Mum's sake and my sanity /stress levels which I thought maybe elevated when care workers started but they have increased my stress a thousand times since attending to my Mum. ?

Have worked for them for over 12mths now and have worked in several care/supported living companies from dom care to working with adults with very challenging behaviours and can say that HCL are by far the best, feel really supported by upper management, help with personal issues very understanding. Yes there is a lot of pressure but support is there

Love working for this company; you can tell how hard the carers work and the office staff are a dream to work with and support their staff so well.I couldn?t recommend HCL enough!

I would recommend hcl i have worked for this company for nearly 4 years now and can honestly say i dont think i will ever go to another the staff in the office do look after you while working in the community. If there is a problem with anything they will sort it right away

AMAZING COMPANYI have worked her for 13 years as a carer out in the field for so many year now work on the office.Yes we have just been a major pandemic for the past 2 years! and yes it was hard. But I think as a company we did so well to provide a service what we did with so fewer staff. Always been supportive and helpful.

I started working for HCL 4 months ago and couldn?t have made a better choice of where to work. The whole team have been so warm and welcoming, and I feel like a part of a big family. I advise anyone who uses this care agency to keep your own record of carers start/finish times. My relative is self funding and was significantly overcharged. They managed to recover part of the money but only after complaining to their social worker and the council. Some nice carers but a few lacking professionalism. Yes there are national social care issues but our issues were down to poor practice.

The recruitment process to be a healthcare assistant is amazing. The training is very thorough and the staff are amazing. I spoke to Chloe a lot throughout the process and she definitely influenced me to carry on the process to start working here.

Home carer's have been amazing over the last 2 years. Firstly looking after our mum, who now has sadly passed away. Now they are caring for our dad with vascular dementia, always friendly and happy carer's and Michaela understands what we're going through. Thank you so much.
