I would definitely avoid Specsavers especially in Birkenhead. I went to collect 2 new pairs of glasses yesterday and I soon realised my glasses didn't have an anti glare coating as I had requested. The man and lady assistants were both very nice and went to ask the manager to speak to me as they couldn't authorise remakes, refunds etc. I was told he was on a break and despite the lady assistant asking him a second time to see me I waited 15 minutes before he arrived! He told me the records showed no anti glare requested so he couldn't do anything. A trainee had served me a few days before and she did get confused so this is not my fault. I asked for my glasses to be remade with the anti glare coating I had requested free of charge. He refused and agreed to refund my money. The manager was not helpful in any way and quite rude as at no point did he apologise for the mistake. DO NOT USE SPECSAVERS AS CUSTOMER SERVICE IS TERRIBLE.

Sunglasses were ? delayed ?.nobody called to update. Popped in today they are there - but no answer to when they arrived or why they never called. Happy to take my money right away. ?. Spoke to supervisor- tried to explain and she goes ?dont talk to me like that?. Like what???

Apppalling Customer Service at the Birkenhead store. I bught glasses 5 months ago at over £300 cost. Faulty lenses that are supposed to be scratch resistant, they are clearly not. want me to pay over £150 for new lenses. Will never shop here again.

would not recommend this shop to anyone, staff are rude and treat you like your an idiot, went to pick up a pair of glasses and was told they dismantled the glasses, I told them the glasses was paid for and they said we don't give refunds, think before you go here.

Stop treating customers like they are idiots. My appountment today was not honored. I was told its customers fault for getting date mixed up.

Arrived greeted at the door hand sanitizer available . Not a long wait seating we'll distanced. Very professional and safe while eye test carried out. Staff very friendly.

Very helpful to my elderly mum ...excellent service .she was made to feel very special nothing was too much trouble...very accommodating as mum was In. Wheelchair......and when choosing her new glasses gave very good advice....
