“I’m surprised at some of the comments here. I have had nothing but good experiences in this post office by all the staff. I stopped going to my local post office because they were always trying to over charge me. Here, everything is explained , when posting items. I find the staff to be thorough and very pleasant, so thank you, dacre hill post office ! ?”

“Unfortunately it seems to be that people only leave reviews when they have a ‘bad’ experience. What I know about our local post office and all local small businesses is that a lot of shops with vulnerable staff had to leave during the pandemic as they were shielding. As we all can see so many businesses have not come back from this and have had to alter hours and reduce staff as small businesses are no longer viable in the local community. People should really think about this before they are quick to comment on the managing of businesses. Wait times might be longer because that one staff member might be doing a number of jobs. We are seeing post offices close down constantly and there is obviously a reason for this. So please be kind and mindful of people’s circumstances. In another gentlemen’s comments about the shop back in the early days, unfortunately people made a good living serving the community and no one would take a job on now unless it is finically beneficial. So maybe take on board the living crisis and the pandemic before you make comments on what staff members might be doing. The gentlemen that work here go above and beyond for our elderly community and people who are unable to leave reviews. Unfortunately keyboard warriors is now a generation we live in!”
“A very efficient and reliable Post Office. Staff are friendly and jolly. It's a small space, be prepared to be patient and queue up at times, especially holiday seasons, which is inevitable at most Post Offices.”

“You need to update your times on your website it states open at 7am and this has been on a few months 7am till 9am but on arrival today you are now open 8am until 10am and yet on the undelivered notice you say check the opening hours well surely you should update them first”
