“This is the second time I've used Halfords on the Croft Retail Park to fit items to a car. 1st time was windscreen wipers and second time two bulbs. On both occasions the service was first rate, efficient and set at a very reasonable cost. I would definitely recommend their parts fitting service.”

“Attended 15th November to purchase a gift card for a birthday gift for my son's girlfriend. There was only one member of staff working the counter as the other lady was on lunch.There where two ladies already being served when I entered the shop, after spraying in excess of 10 different cards for the two ladies to decide what to purchase and then going through the different prices and sizes available for the 5 which they had narrowed it down to, some uming and arming about what to purchase the decision was finally made to purchase a completely different product completely, hats off to the young staff member who stayed very polite all the way through 28 minutes with these ladies, it was my turn to be served, she was very efficient and polite letting me know that the amount I was putting on the gift card was indeed enough to ensure it would cover a good amout of the perfumes in a good size.Extremely happy with her service. Eventhough she knew I only wanted a gift certificate she was fully committed to the clients she was already serving and didn't rush them into their purchase. Yes it would have been brilliant if she quickly served me with the gift card but her professionalism could not be called into account.”

“Always pick up an unusual item here and today my friend bought two hairy balls on a chardonnair for her garden ...I wanted new trainers but couldn't get my size ...they had a pair of Polo pumps but were a size 14 and must have been made in the dry Dock at nearby Cammel Laird !!!”

But much better than this, when I've asked for help, all of the ladies I've dealt with have been amazing. Warm, charming and very helpful. “I ordered 100ml Abercrombie & Fitch First Instinct online two days ago, as it was out of stock in Birkenhead. It was delivered to the store this morning & I picked it up around 10am. It was securely packed & handed over by a friendly member of staff. Have to say I am delighted with the whole process & love my new perfume. Will definitely use the online ordering service in future. “Good quality clothing, reasonable prices, I went to use the self scan checkout but the voucher I had had to go through a main checkout I'd already waited 10 mins until someone had come to help and told me this and the queue was long with only 1 person on the till, however the lady that had come to help opened up a checkout to put me through.”

“Hadn't used Matalan for a while, so had to work out the layout. Not difficult.A good selection of ladies jumpers but so thin, yarn too fine for our winter's. Christmas jumpers, have seen better designs. Miserable, dull, muted colours. Christmas is supposed to be a happy time, a celebration of Christ's birth.Brighten up, please.”

“Massive thank you to Jess at this store! I ordered garden furniture which I thought came flat packed and would fit in the car. Jess helped me carry everything out to the car, but it didn’t fit. She then sorted a refund, and a reorder with home delivery. The product was reordered at the same discounted price for me despite the product no longer being reduced. It was a bit of a headache to sort out, but Jess made it seem no problem at all with lovely customer service. Thank you to the manager who also assisted to get the last few things sorted :) much appreciated!”

“Everything they seem to sell is just gym wear now . We're the use to sell a good selection of clothes I've been in a few stores an nothing of interest anymore all the same clothes with different brands on them . Bit of a shame really . Tend to shop elsewhere now”

“It has pretty much everything from clothing and bedding to baking and quick bites. Blue badge bays in the lower car park near to the lift that brings you to the shop floor or you can use the escalator.
The team there are always helpful (in my experience) and happy to check if you need more information about anything. Can usually find what I'm looking for.”

“Bought a new iPad off them 13 months ago (out of warranty) it sadly died on me, took it to the apple store who said they couldn’t do anything and it would cost for me to replace it, took it back to Argos who sent it to be looked at by a repair shop, no success so they replaced it with a brand new one and refunded me the difference! Friendly and patient staff, will be prioritising buying from them again.”

“Jam packed full of trainers, walking shoes, football boots, football kits, tops, shorts, gym wear in fact as the name suggests SPORTS of all kinds. Very reasonably priced and online even more at good prices. The only thing I can find wrong with the store is there returns policy, if you dont exchange you will recieve a credit note that will last for 2 years not a monetry refund.”
