We only went there for a cuppa but the service was very good. The George is a very lovely old building and definitely worth a visit. I have heard that it is good to stay there but haven't tried it yet.

Staying for one night over the weekend with family. This place never changes, and for the better. Fantastic food and service. Old world charm in an otherwise changing world. The only negative is the new LED bulbs they've fitted throughout the place. Colour is very bright white and ruins the atmosphere. They need shades... read full comment
