I emailed the company three times regarding a refund request. The company finally replied after nearly a month to accept the requested. I posted the item back and it has been another 20 days with no refund and no email responses. VERY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE, reporting the company to citizens advice

So despite a rocky start to the delivery, Team Smithers came good. The damaged and missing items were replaced in rapid order. I guess I can't blame them for items damaged in transit. The packaging was pretty good so just one of those unfortunate things. They kept me in the loop with emails and now I'm now the happy owner of 12 new dinning chairs

Received my beautiful sideboard today , I cannot wait to show it off to my friends. I cannot fault the great customer service and time scale delivery. Before I read the reviews and I was very hesitant about order, however all I can say my experience had been fantastic hence the 5 stars .Will be buying again soon .Thanks again Smithers

After waiting a week for the item I ordered that had a delivery time of 2-3 days I emailed asking for an update. Another week goes by and so I chase again after having no response only to be told that my item 'will be with us shortly' in other words they didn't update the website to show it wasn't in stock. I then decided that I would be better off filing a claim with the bank than waiting for their snail pace customer service to get back to me in regards to a refund. Today I received a rather snotty email complaining that I did this. Here's a tip, keep your website upto date and actually give dates not 'shortly' and maybe then people won't feel the need to act as I did. Absolutely appalling customer service. I wouldn't recommend them, you're better off taking your custom to somewhere that appreciates it.And in response to their response no it didn't state anything other than 2-3 days. That's a lie. Just like they've just emailed me lying more. Whilst also calling me a pathetic human. After waiting and chasing over two weeks why would I waste my time contacting them?! At this point it's a miracle they're still in business

I cannot recommend this service if you're in need of prompt customer service and speedy delivery. My experience with them was marked by misleading communication and a lengthy delivery time.Initially, upon making my purchase, I was informed that my item would be dispatched within 10 days. However, as time passed without any updates or notifications, I became concerned and decided to inquire about the status of my order. To my disappointment, I was informed that the delivery would actually take up to 30 days due to the necessity of using a trusted courier for the fragile nature of the item.It ultimately took a total of 5 weeks from the date of purchase to finally receive my item. This extended delay was frustrating and far from what I initially expected based on the provided information. I suspect the item is ordered from elsewhere once you put the order in.In summary, if you require a fast and reliable service, I would advise looking elsewhere, as this experience left me feeling disappointed and inconvenienced.Note to Smithers - I am not Bron and your comments in response to this message are not related to my purchase. You have confused me with another customer .

A frustrating experience with what turned out to be another drop shipper, ordered and paid for on Sunday and received confirmation. I expected delivery around Thursday but nothing arrived, I was not too bothered but thought I would contact them via web chat to see how the order was progressing only to be informed the item had not shipped and stated that the manufacturer was out of stock. I would not have minded had someone let me know they did not have the item and I could have then ordered from someone else. Spending nearly £200 I expect better communication and for the company to actually hold stock.

Amazing service! Emailed last week with the item I wanted, but said I couldn't order until Monday - I only wanted to know how likely it was I'd get them before Thursday - I got a quick response saying they have 3 in stock (the quantity I needed) and would put them aside (very trusting!) I ordered Monday as promised and they have arrived two days later, highly recommend.
