Stamford is a lovely town to visit in Lincolnshire, wide streets with 16th and 17th century buildings. Lots of nice cafés and interesting shops, many Churches and many Pubs. We attended the St Gilbert's school Christingle service. It was a lovely time, with the candlelight making the interior glow in a medieval way! Note that on street or public car parks are your only options. Outside Christmas that is not a problem.
