Turned up without a booking (recommended) however wasn't in a rush and within 30 mins we were sat down. Good atmosphere, reasonably priced drinks and food. The restaurant only had 2 people working tonight (Saturday) however the service was impeccable and the young lad serving in the restaurant was vey polite and smiled all the time. The 4 of us all had fish n chips which were the best we’ve had in a very long time! Definitely recommend this place!

Nice pub, decent food, good beer on tap (Neck Oil). Have visited a couple of times since moving to the area.Only criticism is they don’t take cash which I find strange but there’s a way around that - get someone else to pay!!They don’t have a website which is unusual these days, only a Facebook page.I’d like to... read full comment
Thatched Country Pub Restaurant nestled on the banks of the River Glen, offering a warm welcome and relaxed atmosphere. Roaring fires, real ales & large beer garden.
Lunch served 12pm-2pm, and Dinner 6pm-8pm. Sunday Lunch served 12-12.30pm and 2.30-3.00pm. Booking advised.
All our food is farm to fork, locally sourced, fresh quality produce.
