“Yesterday your sales assistant Andrew went above and beyond to offer excellent customer service. I drove onto the parking spaces in a panic because my oil light had come on and had a message on the dashboard saying stop driving immeduately. Andrew sourced the correct oil and came out and put it in for me. He then looked up how to access the right place in the cars computer to see if it needed more and pressed all the right buttons. I could never have done what he did for me; I was so grateful. He wouldn't take a reward of a box of buns or money! Leaving this review is the best I can offer him. You should promote him! Thank you Andrew.”
“Staff always friendly and helpful. A really good selection of goods considering the size of the store. Bread, cakes etc always fresh.Prices competitive for a local village store/post office. Well recommended.”

“Lighting is a little stark and I understand the'fast-food', approach, 'you've had my time, I've had your money.' Move along now. Fully understand, as will anyone who in a queue listens to someone ordering scratch cards. Was it six number 9s, or nine number 6s??
I know that I'll be no closer to my pension if someone takes offence at the the numbers of a Lucky Dip.
But am I the only one that has thought maybe a separate kiosk, or a dispensing machine?
In the North Sea!!
The place is NOT a social club, BUT there's always a welcome, with pleasantries exchanged during purchase.
'You've had.. I've had..' Doesn't mean we're engaged!!
If any of the above seems like a rant, it's not meant to be. The place is pleasantly staffed, has a reasonably wide selection of goods and a Post Office!
Thanks all, Mick.
Wait until I do become a miserable old curmudgeon.”

“Very busy but easy to park, stocked full with essentials. Grabbed a meal deal and some fresh pastries. Meal deal was good value, £3.50 for a sandwich, bag of crisps and a drink.
The shop as with most Tesco Express sites is quite compact. Not much room in the entrance and around the grab and go items like sandwiches and drinks.
Annoyingly you can’t get a receipt from the “self” service tills and have to get one of the staff to manually print it.
I’ve had this now at a few Tesco Express stores. It’s not convenient … in a convenience store? Surely it is an unnecessary cost for Tesco to have such a manual process and not something that I have found with other local stores with self scan tills. The staff were very friendly and polite about it but it makes me feel bad as it seems like such a waste of their time when I can see they’re clearly very busy filling the shop.
Lots of parking spaces and very easy to get in and out of the car park. Cash machine outside and strangely another small convenience store in the car park.
On the day I visited, as other people have mentioned in their reviews there was someone outside begging. Seems this is the case with most shops now. Absolutely not the fault of Tesco, but it is quite intimidating as they can be quite aggressive.”
“We’ve all heard it time and time again, “shop local”, “support local businesses”, or “shop small businesses”. The common thread between all of these comments is that they are used as a means to encourage and entice consumers to shop at the stores in their local areas. Another method that has been found to be highly effective in supporting local businesses is local reviews.”
“After my last questionnaire I had a more detailed look around.
I don't eat anything that's ever had eyes except potatoes, made me able to further recommend this place should anyone asking as to the availablity of a specific product.
I'd generally used the place for my own purposes, still advising others to use the services offered here.
Now, even if I'm not likely to buy.
Support your local businesses.
Cheers, Mick”
“I go to the shop quite frequently & I have always received a good service by polite people ! I think that it would be of great use to anybody that searches for this place if they were to see some of the product prices/ offers.”

“The CO-OP food Store is based on the Willows Estate, Wingate Parade.
The shop has a Security Guard in place most of the time.
There is just one small thing.....the FOOD PRICES have INCREASED quite a lot recently.
Some of the Staff are Extremely helpful and friendly.
Sometimes the food that you require is there, but the following week, it will NO longer available.”

“I had the pleasure of stepping into this shop during the London-Edinburgh-London ride of 2022. I arrived late in the evening to see other bicycles stacked out front and I knew I needed to stop for some food and drink.I'm so glad I did. Being from Canada, I had a lovely time joking with the women behind the till about all the treats I've never had before. The one I can remember eating was a Bakewell or something, and it was fantastic. Before I left I said of all the places in the world I could have been, right then at that time I was right where I needed to be. In Limber. She laughed and told me sternly "Greater" Limber!”

Acessible. Other Lady On Checkouts Called Emily Was Friendly And Helpful. Helped With Sending Package And Packed My Bag For Me Very Neatly. Will Be Back. Thank You. ?”
“Excellent local shop. I use this store occasionally and when I do I always find what I'm looking for quickly and easily. Prices are normal co-op prices and are slightly more expensive than other stores as you'd expect. When in the store wait times can be long to be served no more than 5 minutes but you'd expect quicker. The store is also very small, however there is a post Office at the back of the store.”

“Edge avenue is a little shop that has plenty of food and drink options, along with the option to pay by card. It's located in a convenient spot, and there's also parking available. The shop has a wide variety of snacks and drinks There's also a selection of newspapers and magazines, as well as some basic grocery items.I would definitely recommend edge to anyone looking for a quick bite or a a place to pick up some essentials. The prices are reasonable, and the quality of the products is good. I've been there a few times now, and I've always been happy with my experience.1 star knocked off due to size and smell of the store.”
“Easy access with plenty of free parking. Disabled ramp upto the store door. Good range including chilled beers, wine, cider.Amazon locker in the carpark. Can drop off DPD parcels here too.”
“Expensive overall but very convenient, great selection of food, groceries and household items, efficient staff. Sometimes you can end up queuing for a few minutes but they very quickly put people on the tills. Easier than going into town for the bigger supermarkets if you live in the local villages.”
