“Clean bright shop with good stock, fresh fruit and veg from local farmers whenever possible. A section of cooked and fresh meat supplied by local butcher as well as the usual brands. Varied selection of groceries with plenty of special offers.Friendly staff, always cheerful and happy to help.”

“As you would expect - cheaper than most places and a wide choice of British and European foods. Even got some sensor lights or night lights as you call them... For when you walk in dark during the night.... They work brilliantly... Just wish they did not run out so quickly. Loads of parking and friendly staff.”

“Very efficiently run store. The lady in charge is a tyrant.Majority of staff are very polite and efficient, but a couple of new staff are more interested in going home than working. I strongly object to paying to park, and quite often I get there and don't have any change for the parking meter so have to go elsewhere.”

“We were here for the Sunday lunch event. It was quite peaceful and welcoming, yet nice to see families enjoying the food and banter. Service was pleasant, swift and courteous. We decided to have 2 courses and hot drinks. The main course of 3 meats was delicious. The vegetables were all freshly cooked and there was gravy aplenty. Couldn’t fault the food or the service. The puddings were cheesecake and oaty apple crumble. Very tasty and decent portions. The feeling here is that the Staff care and work hard to make it an enjoyable experience. We will look forward to returning and trying the mid week menu. There’s something for all ages here and it appears to be a hidden gem. First time and we will be back thanks all.”

“Have to mention a lovely gentleman called Paul who was filling shelves on the meat isle. I asked him if he had any fillet steaks in his trolley as there was none on the shelves, he said he didn’t. I carried on shopping and was about 3 isles way, when Paul came and tracked me down and said he had found some. Absolutely amazing customer service. I would just like him to get some recognition for amazing customer service”
