Been in the plough a good few times since the new owners have taken over and it's a great place to go! They have got good atmosphere back in the pub and are putting on some good events aswell. Ive been to the karaoke and the recent band. Both great nights enjoyed by everyone. Keep it up ?

We held an early start petanque event at the Plough, having first liaised with Polly and Leah around the provision of toilets and tea/coffee etc. Given that the pub was opening especially early to accommodate us, we were hugely impressed with the way they were able to accommodate us.
With collaborative planning, we were able to enjoy pub food together as a group during our short scheduled lunch break, rather than being fragmented into smaller groups.
We were there from around 9am, and the last of us left at 8:30pm having had a great day. Thanks go to Polly, Leah, and the team.

Great pub in the centre of Ratby, so much better than the previous couple of landlords. The staff are so welcoming and very efficient so it makes for a great night out. Great selection of lagers and ciders that I drink so it?s an easy decision to call in on the way home from walking the dog.

Reason for rating was having just one person serving with 4 others waiting to be served in front of me and when I asked about food they told me they only have lunch menu which isent the best at 6pm lol ref atmosphere we sat outside so did not experience much and do feel a medium rating was fair

Superb commun6pub, great food, friendly staff. Outside space is in the sun, car park is big, great walks locally. Well worth a visit.

This really is a good pub. Not often you find a good old English pub like this. Great people; generally working to middle class. Very comfortable atmosphere and fantastic food. I just ate half a cow, it was cooked to perfection. 5 stars all around ?????

Sound place, good food,the burgers are amazing would recommend.
