It remains a drinkers pub with a good selection of beers (all well kept). Again a busy night with plenty of people to talk to. It is fair to say this is the best traditional pub in the area but is desperately in need of refurbishment. This is a fantastic pub! Set a bit back from the main drag, you don't realise how big this place is. The car park and gardens are huge; the pub itself is quirky, with a small snug area, a couple of larger rooms including separate restaurant and pool table areas, plus there are a couple of separate outside areas as well.... read full comment

Had sunday lunch with my daughter, everything was lovely. Deserts so good. Waitress service excellent.
