“It was a Sunday, sun shining, walking leisurely in Market Harborough, when my wife and I discovered a Cancer Research Charity Shop, on Coventry Road. In we went. My wife Christine ventured to starboard, I ventured to port, that is, right and left respectively. Then looking forward I beheld a gentleman's country hat, perched invitingly, for a gentleman to purchase.Approaching I asked myself; would it fit, was the style really me. was it wool,would Christine like it? Getting closer I convinced myself that everything would be affirmative. Christine saw the hat in my hand, then after placing in on my head, she smiled and nodded her approval. Then looking in the mirror I realised the hat made me look quite dapper; it cost less than a fiver. I was as happy as a lark.”

“This shop has a good location. It has easy access. U can park your car in the back car park if u are dropping some donations. They do have goods items sometimes ?. Thing is it's a charity shop, we need to give unwanted clothes, shoes and bits and bobs - not rubbish. There are certain things they can't take for health and safety reasons. I gave 4 stars coz of the new items are a bit pricey I think ???”

“Always love to pop in here when visiting Market Harborough! They have an excellent stock, and they take good care of curating the displays to make the place as attractive as possible. They often have great collections of other things other than books as well, such as vinyl and paper ephemera. Have bought lots of lovely books from here in the past. It's a good one!”
