Poor experience dealing with this estate agent. Was asked for a holding deposit on a property on Dag Lane in North Kilworth, and only after it was paid were we told that the property contained asbestos floor tiles. ACM report was only provided when requested. We decided to proceed, but were then overwhelmed by the reference requirements. As expats returning to the country, we simply couldn't provide some of the information requested and there was zero flexibility. Very much a 'computer says no' vibe. Poor customer service and not transparent about the asbestos.

Our house had been on the market for 5 months with another agent, without success. After meeting Alex Barnes at a viewing to purchase (and being impressed by his assurance and approachability) we asked him to take over and he sold it the first weekend.
Throughout the entire process he?s been great to work with. Clear, proactive, and trustworthy - chasing when necessary to keep the sale progressing, and always keeping us in the loop. We?d also like to thank our sales progressor Niamh too, for her hard work.
We?d highly recommend Alex to anyone looking to sell their property. He really did take all of the stress out of the process and we felt confident the sale was in very safe hands.

I would like to say how well Alex, Niamh, Tom and the team have treated me and my brother, through the whole process! We couldn?t have done it all without them! No one teaches you how to buy a house at school I would also like to credit Alex Barnes in this as he has helped like you couldn?t believe! If in doubt trust Alex, he is a hero to the company, he has made this possible for me as a dyslexic person and 100% ADHD and never made me feel stupid also Tom Cronin has been a massive help. I?m a barber and can?t contact people at work as I am constantly busy, I struggled as I am aware of there job and how they are trying to help, I wish I had more time and availability. so the process has taken longer though my work! They have all dealt with everything which has make my life so much simpler in a time that should be very stressful! I would never use another company for this experience! Niamh has been a great help also and has been very understanding off my unavailability. Ringing me on my work number has really helped with communication as I cannot answer my own personal phone. I?m very happy with the service I have been given throughout.
Many thanks
Louisa & Thomas xx

We had a really positive experience renting a house through Andrew Granger & Co. Over the entire tenancy, we always received prompt and helpful support. A special thanks to Kiran Minder, who was very professional and made the process of getting our deposit back straightforward and stress-free. We really appreciated the smooth service and would happily rent through them again.
Thank you

I have rented via Andrew Granger for the last few years and found them to be very good. On moving out recently, Kiran has been thoroughly professional and a pleasure to work with, making the experience as smooth as possible. Thank you Kiran!

I have just began a tenancy at a property managed by Andrew Granger & Charlie Dawson made the whole process an absolute breeze. From viewings, through the application process, to rent/deposit & utilities queries she handled everything in a caring & courteous manner that really helped to make things run smoothly.
Thank you Charlie!

My review of Dimple Johal Marla?s diligence is long overdue. My husband and I rented property from Andrew Granger for a few years. Dimple was our point person. We contacted her for repairs, trouble shooting, and replacements. Our requests were met with swift action and positive outcomes. She even advocated for us as she was the conduit between us and management. We miss the team at Andrew Granger and Dimple especially because of her unique blend of professionalism and personal touch.

It's not very often I leave reviews, but based on my experience with this company and in particular a staff member, Alex Barnes, I felt a review was more than justified and would wholeheartedly recommend this company.
My husband and I purchased a house through Andrew Granger. Alex, knowing we were nervous, held our hands throughout the process. Not only was he polite and friendly, he was very informative and knowledgeable. If he couldn't answer a question, he found out and came straight back to us.
Alex in effect was doing the job of three people. Not only was he looking after the seller, he was also looking after us, as our own estate agent had little to no contact with us. Alex was also in constant contact with all three solicitors, keeping us all updated and ensuring everything went through without a hitch.
Thank you Alex for your continuous support throughout this process, I really appreciate the time and effort you dedicated to us.
I'd also like to add to the management of Andrew Granger, look after Alex, he's definitely an asset to your company, and as mentioned above, he did the job of three people, make sure you hang on to him.

As we all know, buying a house can be complex, confusing, and stressful?especially if you're a first-time buyer and unfamiliar with the process. What baffles me is how many people involved in the chain?solicitors and others?seem to just assume you know what is going on with everything and at every step. They're happy to take your money, but when it comes to answering simple questions or providing a simple explanation, even for the smallest requests, seems to be rather challenging for them for whatever reason.
This is where Alex Barnes comes in?what a star. He was the sales negotiator who showed us around the house we eventually bought. He supported us throughout the initial process and carried out all of his responsibilities diligently. More impressively, even after his part in the process was done, he remained incredibly responsive and helpful over the phone, often stepping in to do the jobs of others who were either unresponsive or incapable of answering basic questions. He provided clarity when no one else did.
I would use Sheldon Bosley Knight again, but only if Alex was handling my case. Legend - give the man a pay rise.

Absolute waste of time. The staff are cocky, tell lies and try to state what they say is LAW when in actual fact they are breaking the law.
We ended our tenancy of 13 years, and have still not received the deposit back. The property has had no valid EPC since 2018,and not been renewed. Rent increased every year, appointments made to inspect the property but, no show by the agents. This company operates outside of all laws and think they can get away with it.
I suspect a vast majority of the reviews are fake and untrue to fact.
I am in the process of initiating legal proceedings against this company for breach of contract and not following deposit procedures, increasing rent without a valid EPC.
Let's see what the courts say to this abysmal company who flout the law as it suits them.

I?ve just bought a beautiful old farmhouse, and I honestly couldn?t have done it without Peter, who showed me around and shared his vast wealth of experience and secured the deal. And then upon his retirement, he handed things over to Alex- who managed the rest of the process and was absolutely amazing. Calm, professional, and incredibly supportive, Alex made what could?ve been a very stressful experience so much easier, especially as the buyer of my own property was? let?s just say, extremely difficult. Despite not being her agent, Alex handled her with remarkable diplomacy and really took the pressure off me. I?m so grateful for his help and couldn?t recommend him more highly.

We used this company to sell our home in Market Harborough and had an excellent experience - they were efficient, knowledgeable, and offered a professional service at a fair price. Our house was on the market with another estate agent and we were struggling to sell and got rather frustrated with them giving no real advice regarding what we or they could do to help the situation. We switched to Andrew Granger after viewing a house with James (Residential Sales Manager) as we were chatting with him about our difficulties selling and he offered real advice regarding how we could market our house in a better way (he didn't push us into moving companies at all but gave us very honest advice that made a lot of sense - we were so impressed with him that we made the call soon after). Sure enough we quickly made headway and were very pleased to find a buyer. There was great support through the sale and excellent communication throughout. Highly recommended.

I was initially struggling to find anyone willing to let to me due to part of my income being supported by universal credit, I seen a property by them by chance but was pleasantly surprised on how supportive they were. Now applying for everything was straightforward but I was stressed nonetheless but I got the house and I have been living here about 8 months, no issues and no stress so thank you very much!

I received appalling level of service from your agency during a recent inquiry about the land for sale at The Heights in Market Harborough. The experience was, quite frankly, unacceptable and warrants immediate attention.
Upon my initial call, I spoke with a woman who clearly had no knowledge of the property in question. While I understand that not everyone is fully informed on every listing, rather than transferring me to someone with the necessary information, she chose to hang up on me mid-conversation. This is not only unprofessional but incredibly frustrating for a potential buyer.
Following this, I called again and requested to speak with a manager. I was connected to a man named James, who, instead of offering an apology or any form of customer service, dismissed my complaint by claiming the phone lines were faulty ? an obvious and blatant lie, as I could hear both him and the woman on my previous call perfectly. When I expressed my frustration and mentioned that I would no longer be pursuing the sale due to the poor communication and lack of basic manners from your staff, his response was a simple ?OK? before abruptly hanging up.
This level of indifference and discourtesy is beyond unprofessional, especially from a company tasked with handling high-value transactions such as land sales. It reflects extremely poorly not only on your agency but also on the seller you represent. I would strongly advise you to reconsider how your team engages with potential buyers, as this type of behavior is likely to drive away more prospects and tarnish your reputation further.
If the owner of The Heights in Market Harborough is reading this, I would urge them to consider using a more competent estate agency, as this experience has certainly deterred me from moving forward with the purchase, and I suspect others will feel the same.
I expect some serious steps will be taken by the owner of this estate agent to address this unprofessional behaviour.
