“This is a lovely book shop. Came in for a quiet morning wonder to absord the books. No welcoming goodmorning just constant chatter from staff. Found that ruined the ambiance a little. Otherwise love the book shop.”

“i have to say i adore shopping for "new" clothes around loughborough charity shops , and this shop was once my favourite. unfortunately the prices in here are increasing all of the time. For example my partner picked a jumper up today it was £6.00 too expensive when we are both on a low income and bringing up a child , if the jumper had been £2.00 cheaper a sale would have been made, i appreciate the charitys have to make money but surely these shops are for people like me who are on low incomes and who cant afford to buy brand new clothes. i hope to see a decrease in the prices however i cant see this happening and am sad to say that i now will not be shopping here in the future.(aged 33 )”

“Although this shop is often cramped and crowded, you can pick up some real book bargains here. Books are sent here after they fail to sell in regular book shops, meaning you get discounts of up to 80%. They have a good range of paperback fiction, but particularly good are the general interest books such as gardening and cooking. Although the range is very limited (and the standard of books aren't always great, given that no-one else wanted to buy them either), you can sometimes find a great book, particularly hardback reference books- for a hugely reduced price. They do also sell art and crafts- blank canvases and paints etc, but I found that it's cheaper to buy them from somewhere like Home Bargains.”
