Helping Orphans is a registered United Kingdom charity No. 1182846, registered company by guarantee in England and Wales No. 9997759, registered international NGO No. 451 at the Ministry of Economy in Kabul Afghanistan. Helping Orphans have been founded by Hanan Habibzai back in February 2016. He voluntarily manages and chairs the organisation. The preliminary story began from early 2005, it was during his work as a journalist in Afghanistan that Hanan met many orphans; some of whom went days without food, whilst others ate dry grass to survive. It was heart-breaking to see, and he decided to do something to help to alleviate the suffering of the suffering of the orphans and to assist them in becoming productive members of the society.
