“I am a local holiday park warden, and have to direct holiday makers to the nearest shop for their supplies when our on-site shop is closed.I am so glad that Meekins is the closest. The staff make a shop and these guys are awesome. They are helpful, will go out of their way to help a customer, even when they are obviously rushed off their feet. You can havs a laugh with these guys in a down to earth way that is sadly rare these days. They remember their regulars and take an interest in their lives, are always friendly and outwardly happy, even in these tough times. I cannot speak highly enough of them.The stock of the shop is pretty good with plenty of decent offers to tempt your money away from your wallet. Only thing I'd change is for them to buy in more blue top milk. They always run out before 7 and that semi-skimmed c**p is not an acceptable alternative! I'm always kicking myself if I leave it too late. Anyway, keep up the good work guys, you are all very much appreciated.”

“Small 3 aisle local shop got all the general basics you require day to day including free from items on the shelf such as bread and milk in the fridge. However none were noted in the freezer section but at least able to get the basics required. The staff member on the till was very helpful. Note at the time I visited the 2 self service tills were card only but you could pay cash to the staff member at the manned till from which you could also get standard behind kiosk items such as tobacco etc.”
