The staff here are wonderful and the appointments normally run to schedule.

What a shambles. Fortunately never had to book a GP appointment since we moved to the area 8 years ago but had to the other week. Went online and booked an appointment only to be contacted to say I couldn?t have that appointment and I?d need to ring up on the morning of the day I wanted the appointment. Why let patients book an appointment online then? Then received another call to say they had magically found an appointment on a Saturday morning. Happy days.Had the appointment on the Saturday and needed bloods so as the surgery?s first opportunity to take blood was in about 3 weeks (what a disgrace) got them done at Chorley Hospital that week. Tried to book a follow up appointment but was advised that some of the bloods needed repeating?just great. Got them done again and tried to book online again but this time it wouldn?t even give me an appointment and I was advised to call on the day I wanted an appointment so rang at 8.00am on the dot to find I was caller 35?yes caller 35?in the queue. As I couldn?t spend 2 hours of my life on hold I elected to receive a call back when my number came up. 3 hours later I got a call back, only to be advised they had no appointments left that day. What a complete and utter shambles.Eventually got a phone appointment 2 weeks in advance to discuss the blood test results that I got about 3 weeks earlier only to be asked if the bloods taken were based on fasting results. At no point did ANYONE I spoke to say they needed to be fasting bloods so guess what? Yep?.they need to be repeated?.but properly this time. I refer you to my previous comment?what a complete and utter shambles. Called in to get the blood forms AGAIN only to find the surgery deserted. Eventually someone came to the desk who disappeared into the back where I overheard someone else say there was nobody available as they were all in staff training. Are you having a laugh?I can only presume that the person I overheard hadn?t actually had their training yet as that was an absolute disgrace. It would have taken 30 seconds to get my details and print the forms. So here we are weeks down the line and still needing a correctly administered blood test that I still don?t have the paperwork for. I can only hope that as this shambolic episode has already taken weeks to get to this point and the prospect of it taking even more weeks to actually get a definitive answer, that it?s nothing serious. What was the point of spending a small fortune on a shiny new surgery if all you can offer is chaos, delays, frustration and misery? At least the parking is better I suppose.

This surgery is amazing! I love the idea of a call back if there is a long queue and the surgery phones back straight away not a lot of surgeries i have been to in the past have offered this service. Everytime one of my children has been poorly the surgery has seen them all most straight away. The staff are all so lovely, friendly & very professional.

The receptionist are very racist and their service is very bad.Time wasting too? They give wrong information and be surprised upon arriva.I?ve been suffering to get my proof of address,it has been a whole month now.

Can anyone actually get an appointment the same week they need it here? Seem to offer a lot of private services and little to no NHS

Received message asking me to contact surgery to make telephone appointment with doctor. Called at 09.45. Waited 35 minutes to be told no appointments left, but to call back following day at 8am. Seeing other reviews it is obvious that I will be told the next day and subsequent days that no appointments left. On complaining (raised voice, no abuse, no insults, no threats) I was threatened with call termination. Staff completely unsympathetic. I thought reception staff job is to bring patients and doctors together; this staff seem to think their job is to build a wall between patient and doctor.

I think the service we receive is amazing, its not always easier to get an appointment. The reception staff are polite.

Wait for 20 minutes to be told the only way for an appointment is to call at 8am. What a farce.

Attended to have my flu jab following a pre-arranged appointment the week before with the nurse. Something I have had annually due to being asthmatic since I was a child. The nurse informed me after my arrival that I was no longer entitled to one. In fact I was left in the room alone for ten minutes whilst she found out whether I could have one when I explained I had one the previous year. I questioned why I was being informed after my arrival as opposed to informing me on the phone which would have saved me the time and taking the day off work. I got the standard, sorry, it was the receptionist not me and to address it with them.I then went onto ask for the practice manager to feedback my thoughts on wasting a patient's time and poor diligence by the practice however had to wait a while whilst another apology was taking place at reception by the receptionist for letting another patient down who had been waiting for a call for three weeks and eventually had to physically come to the surgery because she gave up waiting on hold on the phone.I was told to wait whilst the practice manager was in a 'meeting'.Whilst I waited, the reception manager came out to inform me that the practice manager was in a meeting. I said I would wait, and all of sudden her tone changed and she walked away saying the practice manager would be a couple of hours!!Wow. 0/10 for customer service. In other words go away, we know we are wrong again so we will hide in the back hoping you'll go away. This is a brand new practice but the level of service has actually got worse.

To day i experienced a drop in the usual high standards that I have experienced over the years. There was simply no empathy are warmth from the person I had to deal with.Sorry I have come to expect more from you.Again sorry I have had to state what has been experienced.

Had a yellow patch on my eyelids which I suspected was high cholesterol. . Doc I saw told me it was just a pimple and to put warm compress on it. Turns out it's a xanthelasma which is indicative of very high cholesterol . Even I could see that myself. Also, they don't respond to urgent prescription requests when pharmacy can't supply (3 days and 4 phone calls). Partly down to pharmacy also being awful. But has left me with with terrible withdrawal symptoms.Absolutely dreadful . Will be changing surgery
