“Cheese counter is second to none. Availability hasn’t been as good as it usually is. The nettle yarg, kaltbeck and kit cavlert are amongst my favourites (when available)”

Staff always friendly and good range of products.Can't really complain and since they added self service means don't get stuck behind Julie, Baz and three kids doing ther monthly shop when you have a meal deal.”

“As part of movements without a car, and getting used to this change, this store is part of daily shopping for occasional groceries. The store has a ATM outside. There are three tills available. Though not always three staff using these. It's seems to have a comprehensive ranges of ordinary foods. The staff are nice. If, like me, your on a healthy diet, you may need to be selective from this range of ordinary foods. My diet is medically recommended In a book 'G. I. Diet' by Gallop, Virgin press. I have lost three stones and four pounds in a year. The best method is the simplest, such as to check for traffic lights on foods in classes. And my mmls is now close to normal level. Both of these factors are directly due to this level of diet and going on daily long walking exercise. This is supported by daily long walks. My staples of healthy foods to maintain this are bought online and delivery to my house from a local Asda once a week. This Spar store is good for occasional items you don't buy once a week. It's seems helpful and as useful as the local Co-op. Though this Co-op seems to have more range of extravagant foods available.”

“Great place to shop, disabled access, plenty of parking spaces, Bakery. butchers, fishmonger, cheese stall cafe, and kiosk All inside the supermarket. Also petrol station and cash machines down the side.Everything you need all in one place.”

“Purchased one of their garden sofas today and totally misjudged the size compared to my boot. The staff were amazing, letting me take it piece by piece and trekking it out to the car when I came to pick up another bit. Huge thanks to Oliver, Luke and Lee for all their help. He was knowledgeable, friendly, polite and personable. He dealt with our issue in a professional and friendly manner. His knowledge and expertise is second to none. “Tried most of the pharmacies in Chorley. Tesco's is by far the best friendly helpful staff. I use a repeat prescription service at my GP's which is sent to Tesco pharmacy and the items are ready for collection in less than 24 hours 10/10 fantastic service”

“A convenient store with easy parking, much easier than using the other store, ok for picking up click and collect though can be questionable how much effort and knowledge staff have of the service, the store is great , clean , well stocked and for a little Asda gets great offers on too, some staff are pleasant, the younger ones generally are nicer, the more mature (should know better) ones are hmm sometimes ok, sometimes rude and unhelpful, a tip here… usually a teams attitude comes from top/management down to shop floor, it’s important for all staff to show good customer service to promote it and pass it on. However, store itself wise 4/5 stars as very good!”

“Very friendly and helpful staff. On 22/5/23 I was looking for some antihistamine eye drops, I must have looked a bit lost as a very nice store assistant called Tanya came up and asked if she could help, with a bright and genuine smile on her face. The eye drops weren't on the shelf so she directed me to the store pharmacy. I went to continue my shopping first, and she actually hunted down the very thing I needed from the pharmacy and brought it to me without me even asking. What a lovely gesture on a very hot day when I was suffering badly with hay fever! Staff are always friendly and helpful at this store, really nice thing to see these days.”

“I went in one day to get my LYNX lager and there wasn't any, so I asked the girlbehind the counter if they had any and she said no but I will get some next week.I went back a week later and there onthe shelf, was LYNX larger so all I can sayis the staff are very helpful.?”
