The gentleman who invited us in and showed us to our room was nice and friendly but that's where the pros end, the beds was extremely uncomfortable needs new mattress ASAP. There was one curtain hung up badly and the noise at 3am was ridiculous. Also had to share shower/toilet with other people. Would not stay again

The manager on duty was really nice and helpful. Hotel is as about as nice as they come in blackpool. Was a bit of a walk to the pleasure Beach for my young kids but that's down to my planning. Would book again.

Horrible smell in the room! Loud outside, the door didn't feel secure, the water wasn't on, the bed was uncomfy! As we were walking in a couple told us not to check in and leave, says it all

If I could rate this place ZERO STARS I would. The pictures on Booking.com do not represent the room. A complete sham run by a bunch of liars!!!Please do not book here if you have hygiene standards!!!!!I lost £65 for a room that was rated 4 star on Booking.com.com and was more like ZERO STARS!!!!

I cant even rate my stay because I could not go due to covid 19 restrictions.. I had booked 2 rooms and had to cancel . Tried a few times to contact the property but nothing ! Contacted booking.com and they managed to contact the property and ask for a refund witch they said no and also would no let me change my dates to another time.. left me £277 down .

We have been here years ago and was such a beautiful hotel. Clearly changed ownership and the place has become an absolute atrocious. The staff member we did see was friendly and the location is good for town centre but that?s as far as it goes.

It Was a nice place. Very Comfy Bed And Pillows. Bed Nice And Clean. Decent T.V and channels very good WIFI and nice wee owner.Few Issues I Had was The Shower. The Temperature is just not there. Hot And Cold when it wants and cut of. Also The Door is held by a latch and The Outside Hall light gets in The Room. That Is Minor Complaints but overall I Did Like It.I Never Had The Food.

Good value and clean. Close to north pier area. Convenient for beach and promenade. Parking not guaranteed but there is a 24 or 48 hour car park very close by on Queen Street where it is safe to leave car overnight. To access this street by car you have to go round as it?s one way but it?s a two minutes walk from this guest house.

3 stars are for a tidy but very small room with en-suite. Everywhere in Blackpool has gone up tremendously in price since the "staycation" fashion has come into play.We were unfortunately too close to a very noisy Pub/Club,which didn't empty till early hours of the morning. It would appear that,at weekend's the people from this place hold very loud conversations outside the Hotel we were in,this was followed later on Sunday morning at 8am,by an alarm going off twice within 5 minutes. When I couldn't find anyone to find out what was happening,I phoned the Manager, only to be told "it's okay"! No explanation or apology given. We were also greeted early on the Monday morning with the noise from the Construction site next to us.I was glad to come home for a rest!

The check in is useless, there is not reception, you must ring a bell and wait, if nobody comes you must call to the number on the door, Check in is strictly 2:00PM, the building sometimes smell to food and some homeless people still living on this hotel, you can hear shouting them or seated outside really no great experience and feel was robbed for the price paid, £ 95.00 a night, the shower with stains and the ceiling peeling off, the place no offer Breakfast, check out you must guess what to do or call again to manager asking how check out, Never again would not recommend at all keep away

As a family of 6 (3 adults, 3 children) we booked 2 triple rooms with en-suite. When we arrived, we were told it was shared shower room, but only us in it. We were on different floors so the top floor had to go down 2 flights of stairs to get to it. The hall way was filthy, never hoovered and very grubby. The bathroom looked like it hasn?t been cleaned in over a year, dust everywhere and pee up the walls. The bath mat was dirty and wet when we arrived. We also found that someone else was actually using it too, although we were told it was just for the 6 of us. 3 out of 4 of the beds were broken. The curtains were hanging on with 2 hooks. Cracks and dents in the wall. I woke up in a panic thinking someone was being sick, turns out it was the sink in the room making massive gurgling noises which happened every 2 hours and lasted about 10 minutes each time. It could be a nice place if redecorated and cleaned daily. It?s in an amazing location, and space for about 6 cars. Just make sure you have everything you need, as a gate got locked so we couldn?t get our coats out and nobody to ask. We sent the 8 year old through a tiny gap to get things we left. The bedsheets were all bobbly like they?d been used over and over for the past 50 years. Time to replace. To be fair, you get what you pay for, we aren?t ones to sit in the room, like to explore, so it was just a place to sleep. Oh also, the 2 rooms were the same price, one was an ok size, and had a couch and big TV. The other one was tiny and the tv was about the size of an iPad screen and no couch. Couldn?t understand how they can charge the same for both.

Cheap Hotel, room was relatively clean but very dated, mattress was sunken in places and needs changing, water stains on roof tiles, large dents in the walls, funky colours on the furniture, photos on booking.com are not up-to date and no way resemble what it looks like now, General cleanliness in the communal areas was discussing , the Bannister was so bad you could actually write your name on it , it was thick with dirt and grease, The property advertises as covid safe, this is clearly not the case as basic hygiene has been ignored on high contact surfaces. The nightclub round the corner had music on until 2am, you could hear it but it wasn't over loud, there are limited car parking spaces and not enough for the 23 rooms advertised, there are at best 7-8 spaces, only saw staff upon check in and never again after that. Would i have stayed here if i knew what it was like or had read the reviews before i booked, nooooooooooooooooooo.

Just returned from the Mchalls! Mixed feelings on it. Location absolutely perfect! A stone's throw across the road from Flying Handbags, Funny Girls, Ma Kelly's North. When arriving it was very strange. Got told to take a seat in a very strange room which looked as though it could've been a bar/ dining room. Waited a while not knowing what was happening cos the young man who was sorting everyone out was on his own. He eventually gave us our key and gave us a warming welcome, carried our bags to the room. We never saw him again all through our stay (3 nights). No one on reception at all. In fact, there were no reception. The room/ hotel were very dated but quite clean. It did smell quite damp/foisty but there were iron, ironing board, hair dryer, make shift wardrobe what you'd use for camping. Very dim lighting and couldn't see to put make up on etc. Really dark in the bathroom cos the were a bulb out and couldn't find the owner to tell him about it. The bed was really comfy but curtains hanging off the rail. Needed a real good refurb. No breakfast but had tea, coffee etc in room. The good side were, we had free parking round the back which is a bonus in Blackpool. I'm thinking it's recently changed hands and definitely needs money spending on it.
