“I called into the Accrington store late afternoon on Thursday 29 June 2023 and tried on some casual shoes. I wasn't hassled by the staff although they made it clear to customers that they were available for help should it be required. I was served by Emma with the shoes and some insoles. She couldn't have been more pleasant and brightened up my day. As an older person living alone, a smiling face and a kind word can make a big difference to an otherwise dull day. Thank you Emma.”

“On the whole, quite a decent sized store for Matalan. I didn't find my holiday getaway items at the start of September - as most of the store was geared up for Autumn. They send great value money off vouchers too. Always worth a check in.”

“Wouldn't normally use this company because the owner is a plank but I needed to get some trainers in a hurry and at a reasonable price which I managed to do here.My review is for the helpful staff I encountered in this particular store today. Other reviewers have mentioned it being under staffed and that is true but it's the fault of the owner not the workers in the store.”
