Had a great experience at the club today. Sophie on reception was extremely welcoming then Libby from Sales showed me around the club she was very informative. Then as I was leaving I had a conversation with Millie who was extremely helpful. Great team you have at Kings Hill.

We met Libby form sales today and had a great tour around the club and its facilities, all the staff seemed lovely with a really nice environment, Sophie & I think Millie on reception were especially helpful.

Firstly, I notice that 9/10 of the positive reviews on here are from people that have apparently literally just taken sales tours and signed up.. presumably at the request of the sales team to boost their Google score and hide the truthful negative reviews!Had to leave the club after my son was verbally attacked by a grown man whilst under the care of the kids club. The manager allegedly spoke to the man who did this (only after several complaints from us), although I question if they actually did at all. I was not satisfied with the way they handled the complaint, and every time I requested an escalation to the area manager in line with their T&C policy they refused and instead fobbed me off to someone else within the club. I ended up having to explain and deal with 3 different types of manager within the club, all as unhelpful as the previous one (particularly Les and Scott). Eventually we ended up with Scott, the assistant manager, who was quite simply incompetent. After we cancelled the membership we started being chased for unpaid fees (which were never due) because he failed to process our cancellation properly or take responsibility to correct his mistake when brought to his attention on more than one occasion. After weeks of chasing Scott for our membership fee refund and getting nowhere, we did a bank chargeback and just 1 week later they had the audacity to send debt collectors our way. This was just the final nail in the coffin though; the parking is a joke and people will park their cars wherever they want. The club claim to take action against those that do this but they do nothing whatsoever. The classes keep being cut and they refuse to add more (the classes were the only good thing about the club and what kept me coming back), despite there being sufficient demand and space in the timetable and members continually requesting this.Maintenance of the club is done at a bare minimum level, which they then try to sell to members as ?improvements?. Fixing a faulty boiler after a week of no hot water is not an improvement and not what I expect from a premium gym. They also don?t advertise this to members before they come, because they apparently have a policy not to share negative information such as this?!If you are looking forward to using the outdoor pool in the summer, think again. They sell short term memberships to non-members during that time, knowing people will sign up just for the outdoor pool. There were a few positives but to be honest, there are now so many negatives that these are now easily forgotten.

I've been to a few of the David Lloyd clubs and this one seems to be a bit dated in the appearance. It has the usual facilities, the outdoor pools, the steam and sauna areas, the gym etc.The gym itself is a bit dusty towards the ceiling and could do with better lighting. The steam and sauna areas look ignored too. Nothing special like the one in Leeds which has a crushed ice machine, this doesn't!!The staff are friendly and helpful though. The pilates and yoga classes fill up really quick ?.

I have recently left as a member at Kings Hill after only being a member for 9 months at this particular club, for the following reasons:1. The club is too oversubscribed. You can?t have an enjoyable group class, gym session or even coffee, just purely because of the sheer volume of people the club has.2. The parking is awful, people end up parking in disabled bays and family bays, parking where they shouldn?t just because there aren?t enough spaces.3. The amount of times I?ve been to use the showers at the club and there is no hot water, so i have had numerous cold showers.4. You can never get booked onto classes, again because it?s too oversubscribed.5. You have to ?share? equipment out if you do get into a class, because again, there isn?t enough to go around for the amount of people there are.6. the gym is too small (for me personally) which again goes back to the the amount of people in comparison with the size of the gym, so you can?t ever use equipment leisurely as it is always in use.7. Nobody seems to clean gym equipment or class equipment after they have used it, at my old club this was normal practice.8. Ever since I joined back in June, there has never been air con in the group exercise room! shocking. These are just a few reasons I wouldn?t recommend this club. The main point is, for the membership fee they charge you which is over £100 a month, the facilities are no where near worth that fee. I was previously a member at Maidstone david lloyd before it shut, paying half the price and the facilities were much better than at Kings Hill, and they will only to continue to up the price for a substandard club. You can find a better club locally with better facilities or even the same facilities, but at least the price is reasonable. Extremely disappointing, resulting in David lloyd losing me as a member after 6 years.

Well, as most David Lloyd's,this one requires a good refurbishment. We pay £200 for basic couple membership . I honestly believe it is not worth it. Lots of maintenance issues around the pool like broken doors, hooks, etcYou would not expect from a premium brand

Highly recommended, with great facilities and friendly staff. Huge thanks to Caitlyn for her exceptional customer service - she was really welcoming, attentive and knowledgeable throughout the tour, taking the time to listen and showcase everything this wonderful gym has to offer without it feeling like a hard sell.
