“Lovely venue and food. Shame about the middle aged short hair blonde woman serving who gets the hump easy when you don't want to pay the forced service charge. Very unprofessional”

“Good experience. Mike was very helpful and knowledgeable. Used the gizmo to measure dimensions and pressure to find suitable beds which cut down the hunting. We did lie on a few more bets not generated on the list and they weren’t for us so the science in the scan did work!”

“Never easy buying a new mattress! We had a great experience at Furniture Village. The sales consultant (Iona) was very patient. She certainly new her stuff. Discussing in detail the options available.
We were very impressed. I can highly recommend them.”

“What a place! What a family! After having had a long drive down from the Lake District to attend an interview at another hotel only to arrive and find it closed and nobody answering the phone we turned around and started to head home in the hope of finding somewhere to put our heads down. We searched on Google and found this gem of a place. Initially stopped for some food but decided to ask if they had any rooms available as it wasnt showing any availability on Booking.com. They sorted us out with a lovely clean, quiet double with a comfy bed and fabulous shower. We ate our evening meal (can recommend the stroganoff and the steak) went to crash. Had a great sleep, woke refreshed and after meeting more of the family at breakfast, which was also great, it set us up for the long drive back up north. We can only thank you once again for helping us out last minute. We will definitely be calling again if back in the area.

“This is actually called the Tunbridge Wells Hotel so hope I am posting my review in the right place!

An excellent place to stay and dine. Great location in the heart of the Pantiles. Our room was tiny but very clean and well kept. We got it last minute on a third party site and were glad we had two nights here.

The breakfast is a small menu but I appreciate the vegetarian selections. The best breakfast I’ve had was the vegetarian Pattie sandwich. Mmm mmmm! Just the right amount of food, two pieces of crusty toast and a savory veggie patty which reminded me of harvest burgers in the 90s when I first became a vegetarian. Very tasty.

They have a 24/7 bar (yaaaaaas) and an excellent wine list. Great dry white wines.

My other breakfast here I ordered salmon and cream cheese toast (instead of a croissant) and the husband got one of the croissants. It was good. Top that off with a nice cold Prosecco and that’s a nice
Saturday morning holiday. :) the guy who waited on us July 12 in the morning gave us outstanding service. Didn’t catch his name but I was impressed overall. He gave us a taxi recommendation which is always helpful.

There was a live jazz band Thursday night outside the hotel and that was very energetic and fun.”
