“Had a fabulous last minute stay at The White Lion.Enjoyed a delicious pizza and a couple of pints in the bar. The staff were all lovely and friendly.My room was large, spotlessly clean and had a big bay window.The bed was very comfortable and the room was quiet.Slept like a log!Currently enjoying a coffee from the Nespresso machine in the room whilst catching up on some paperwork, the Wi-fi works!!!!”

“We were fortunate enough to come across this little gem as a late booking for our society golf weekend. Course was ideal as we have a varied range of golf capability in our group. Hotel was perfect for us, golf package was very well priced, rooms comfortable and spacious, good bar and food just what we needed. All staff were excellent, especially Sue the reception manager who was friendly and very helpful, Stephanie at the bar also looked after us very well which is not always easy with a rowdy group. We will definitely go back.”
