“Great local shop with fresh produce as well as drinks, newspapers and bakery sections. Free parking, just outside I have frequented this shop over 42 years. Recommended!”

“Great prices and good selection. However, not ideal if you want to grab something quickly as you will have to wait in a queue. And I hate it when stores don’t monitor the parent/child spaces, so it’s a free for all. It’s frustrating watching selfish, overweight, lazy peoplewithout children take the child spaces.”

“Open until late. Good quality food and semi-reasonable prices for the most part. Get there early in the morning to grab a fresh chocolate croissant - they are the best you will ever try!”

“My boyfriend and I were hungry after our shop at Tesco and decided to give the café a go.Firstly we were served by Scott, who was happy and gave off a very chilled vibe, which I like.We ordered a halloumi burger each. I had the chocolate milkshake, and he had a large Americano. The milkshake was really good actually, and the portion was decent. The coffee was even better though; it was really nutty and refreshing and came in a big mug. We both shared it!The meal came with piping hot fresh chips coated in peri peri spice which tasted great, and the burger was really good too, although the burger and plate could've been warmer. The burger was served in a plain untoasted bun which was fine, but the bun could've been toasted and/or seeded. That would've been nicer. The burger contained thick chunks of halloumi, two fresh tomato slices and lettuce. It had chilli jam and peri peri mayonnaise. The prices were:£2.90 for the large coffee, which represents good value£4 ish for the milkshake, which represents okay value, but could've been better. You'd expect to pay something like that for a drink from Costa£7.50 each for the burger and chips which was okay value, but it's about what you'd pay in a Wetherspoons.I gave the café 4 stars. The place was clean, spacious, had a wide variety of seating and table options. The food was good, but not great, and the service was fast and friendly.I would've given this café 5* if it offered better value for money, or some kind of clubcard incentives (with money off or extra points), or even a combo meal/drink offer. The snacks and cakes in particular were quite expensive at £2-£2.50 for one slice or one muffin. For a supermarket, that's not really justifiable in my opinion, when you could just grab a pack of 4 muffins for cheaper, for example. On the whole, I had a great meal with my partner and great, quick service!”
