Dispensing staff were friendly and welcoming. I have to have my lenses thinned right down, and have been impressed with the price and quality of the frames. This is my second time here, after using some of the other independent stores and paying hundreds of pounds for glasses. I really can't fault the staff and the service here.”

The professional expertise is top notch, nothing is too much trouble, and there’s no sense of time pressure whatsoever in choosing glasses or, crucially in the later fitting and adjustment. In particular, Simon Davenport, who is also the manager, is meticulous in getting things right. We couldn’t have been more pleased over the years, and although we’re aware that a review like this might seem slightly unbalanced, there really is nothing negative to write.
